Seperate lifes? Stoner / normal

Does anyone feel like they seperate there stonner lifestyle from there 'normal' lifestyle. Like dont talk about weed to friends who dont smoke it, Dont mix stonner friends with normal friends or like to be completely sober when carrying out tasks in normal day to day life?

I wont smoke when im out with friends who dont smoke (the whole one or two of them haha) just out of respect for them, But i will damn sure smoke right before and right after =P

I honestly just don't give a fuck anymore. I've come to find most people in one way or another do shit WAY worse than my weed smoking, So fuck em. I let everyone know im high when they ask haha.

yeh if i have been out with non smoking friends, im bang on the herb when i get home, I just think the media has painted such a bad picture, my non smoking friends have took this image and i feel that they think lowely off me, like if i say im picking up weed to one of them, he would make some sort of joke, but you can see there still kinda serious, hard to explain but im baked lool

Did it for 20 years, people had no idea. Retired as a VP of a large hi-tech company, funny thing everyone was on coke and booze. At one point we had so many people of on short term we had to hire 20 new people in our district. I had coke offered to me all the time at first but I just kept saying no and they stopped. I did find a kindred spirit and we would meet and have a puff and some times a little snort, but never in front of people. I always said no thanks, I never said I did not do it.

I'm only the non-stoner (I wouldn't call them "normal"...) around my family, where it's a somewhat taboo subject and doesn't get usually get brought up. I'm generally the same, I just don't talk about drugs and I wait until they're gone to smoke. I don't really give a shit if anyone else knows I smoke pot...I live in Canada for fucks sake

Non smokers
Light smokers
Full time smokers
My best pals are non smokers and i dont pressure at all nor talk about it and we get along great.

Oh trust me, I know all about that. I mainly get that kinda crap from the friends and family that i've grown up my whole life that never got into the smoking scene. They say that they don't care about it and it doesn't bother them, but they will make a crack about it every chance they get.

....it's just said with that tone that you can feel the underlying condescending/seriousness in there voice. But what the fuck can we do, The government and media have demonized us so much that even our own non-smoking friends and family sometimes forget were not scumbags =/

I keep it completely separate from my professional and family life. Now when I'm out playing gigs it's part of my persona....hell I owe it to the audience to be stoned at all times. I do my best to give them what they deserve.

Of course! Medical Marijuana has made it possible for more people to come out with their marijuana use, but still some of us have to be selective on who knows our business. I came out to family just recently. My Zoloft popping sister tries to make an issue of me using by joking about it. If I get decent with growing I will find a strain for her to try instead of Zoloft and alcohol, which shouldn't be mixed anyway. I haven't heard of anyone over dosing on a little alcohol and marijuana, but mixing those mood altering drugs and alcohol can mess you up bad. Everything is not for everybody...buds are for me!

Some people don't get it, never will.. not worth my time to bring weed into it so I maintain 'normal' friendships along with fully disclosed relationships.... I enjoy the latter however the former is necessary in this society.

same here i keep it away from my place of work.. but once i get home i blaze up and become the hippie type..
my job is like a dressy type of place, so when we have meeting i come dressed as me and be high as hell with a little visine to conceal it from my boss.
but other than that i never use the stuff.. im always stoned no matter what i do or where i go and dont give a shit about anyone knowing

I don't pressure any non tokers to burn, but if people decide to mock me for smoking i start talking about how alcohol and liquor change a person, and bring up embarassing things they did while drunk. People seem to not talk trash about my weed smoking when i have pics and videos of them acting like sluts/assholes or barfing on themselfs lmfao.
I do drink when i party with people but i know my limits, most people i know do smoke weed, even if it's not very often. Fuck new years morning i was smoking bongs with my man, his dad and sister, as i/m putting my bong away his mom walks out in the garage, she had to have seen it and smelt it but she never said anyhting, why because we are all adults, what can she do?? lol
Weed is a social activity as far as i'm concerned

Yeh, i would love to say to my parents that i smoke weed every week, but they will just flip, my mum threatened me once to chuck me out if she found anything drug related in my room! My parents havnt a clue of the drug world, i would like them to stop being biased,but we can all dream.

My parents i woulod say at some point, have or still do a drink problem, well my mum deffo does. I love her, but when she touches drink, she cant stop, she will go through a 2 bottles of wine, within hours, When my dads away, it gets worse, she got super drunk on vodka and shit just went down, huge arguement all that bollox, and she then begs me next day to not tell my dad! And she was drinking in the morning, how low is that?

See now if i said i smoke weed, they would flip out, and just i know thye will think lowely off me! But i dont want to have to argue and have cheap shots at my mum or dad, i would rather it be said, excepted and if they wanted to, i would discuss it! Hell they could benifit from it for pain relievement, but they would never think about it. Sucks ass
