Modest Defense Spending Cuts

Incorrect. Bringing our military personnel home would mean they are spending their money here. Stopping our illegal occupation in the Middle East would mean our government would no longer be stealing our money and spending it there. Our money would be spent here. We need to stop the occupation. It's not happening. Billions are being spent to build an Embassy there. The current philosophy is to stay in the Middle East no matter what lies the dems tell you. They have shown little interest in ending the illegal occupation like they said. We know most of the repubs are for the war. Don't count on those sleezebags to end it.
Yeah but you forget most of these companies pay American corporations to outsource everything. Profits for American companies outside of the country which means they won't be taxed.

Its like the perfect scheme to make profit on war by stealing tax payers money. Think about it.

Looks at Bushes Administration they all either own corporations or have worked for them in the past or are working for corporations currently. Dick Cheney for the biggest one Halliburton.

the US doesn't spend shit on 'defense'.

it's all war-mongering offensive technology.

the US has very little defenses. we saw that on 9/11, where the only 'defense' we had was that every lawmaker, cabinet member, and aide was swiftly wisked away to bunkers, and the president was put on a plane to an undefined location surrounded by 10 fighter jets.....

that's not national defense. that's cowardly routing.
LOL, Yeah i gotta agree and give you rep for that.

The United States isn't supposed to have a standing Army for longer than 2 years. Originally the idea was no army would exist unless it was to repel an invasion. Needless to say that portion of our history has been ignored and rewritten.

"Defense spending", that is pretty funny.

We need bigger cuts than that, reduce size by 90%.
Yup, we do agree on some things. Stop all US involved wars, bring home all the troops, put them on the borders untill jobs can be created for them by bringing all out manufacturing base back home, taxing imports through tarrifs, stopping all outsourcing, and becoming the once proud nation we were meant to be. When there are liveable wage jobs for high school dropouts, (Housing construction for starters, now commandeered by latino illegals), Jobs for all citizens, and full employment for all enterprises, then we can talk importing students and workers. Untill then, we should keep it all homegrown, and force through regulations, the rebuilding of the American working force. One major plan would be to tackle wall street and the banksters and regulate them into submission, no more multimillion dollar salaries or bonuses, or golden parachutes, that's just wrong and evil.

Out of one side of your mouth you acknowledge force is wrong. I agree with you the United States doesn't need to be the world police.

Then from the other side of your mouth you advocate "bringing all manufacturing home" taxing, stopping out sourcing and using force through regulations.

If using force against foreign countries is wrong, why would you want to use force here?

Latino illegals? I thought the Mexicans occupied the southwest long before whitey showed up? When you say "illegal latinos" do you really mean, hey motherfucker we stole this land fair and square back in the 1800s from your ancestors so get the fuck out?

Government force doesn't create jobs, but it does create record debt and a welfare / warfare state.

Got news for you too, more government regulation isn't going rebuild America...the cause of a problem, is not the solution. I'd bet my bottom dollar if dollars were worth anything anymore, your ancestors will be pressing shirts for the Chinese and the "illegal latinos" who are repopulating North America, like it or not.

Keep it homegrown? Now THAT makes sense. :leaf:
