How can i tell if i have a sprout!?!?!

Very obvious question yes, but let me give you the details, one i have pot in which where i put many seeds into hopping one will sprout, i know this is that the best way so i don't really care, point is about three weeks ago something shot its way up and I'm not sure if its a plant its has 4 leaves two round is one and two spiky ones and it slowly, since the time Ive noticed it about three weeks ago, its been getting a deep green color. any obvious ways to tell if its a plant yet???

i know i should have been checking but ive put so many seeds in this pot thats why i want to make sure its a hemp plant.

open to any ideas , thanks

haha you sound like you know what your talking about forsure do i smoke and i want to get into growing im just not wanting to be tricked, cuhz one time i thought i had a sprout went to move it , it turned out to litterally be weed, a whole crazy root system. and im talking weed that grows on your lawn not the one we put in jays...

If anyone cares as soon as this thing starts budding ill put pictures up, but wif the weather were having in the south bay , its going to take a longggg time...

Ok... why not let it grow and see if it looks like a cannabis plant when it has finished, it may very well be a carrot or a cabbage. If you smoke it and you smell sunday dinners, then its a cabbage.

Or, you could throw your pot away, buy a new one with some new soil and replant a seed that you know for sure is cannabis... or is that defeating the object?

You could even try "cannabis seedling" in google and look at the pictures.....

yeah thats the question , its to late though dude south bay hasnt been getting good weather, and it has two more ity bitty leaves pushing out and theyre turning yellow, i would bring it iin home if i could buy my wife would throw a fit because we have a kid and she just doesnt want my daughter to up root it lol

I do try, its hard to be serious when im actually crying with laughter tho..... Why dont you just buy it from someone else, i dont think horticulture is your thing man.... may be a stand up would be a good career choice.

ok...now that my brain has stopped hurting from reading this last night...let me see if i got the idea here...you took random seeds...not even sure if they was pot seeds...put them in a container with im guessing yard dirt...since you said before you had random weeds growing in it which you wont get with store bought soil...you have them outside i take it since you talk about your local weather.....so...1.random seeds that might not be MJ....fail...2.dirt from outside full of bugs and random weeds....fail...3.having them outside this time of year with about everywhere having snow or frost...fail....3 strikes and your out...you do not pass go...do not collect $200... everyone on this site is now dumber for having read this...and may god have mercy on your soul.

hahaha nah dude 1. i knew they were bud seeds i just didnt think they would sprout,2. my plants actaully a bud plant 3. i was talking about local weather because i had it in a pot. 4. no weeds in this pot, i had this pot decompozing bannana peels for the longest time. 5. shes looking promising=D

YAY I HAVE A NICE LITTLE PLANT GOING GUYS SHES BEAUTIFUL AND SHE SPROUTED OUT SIDE IN A POT =D
I've been keeping it warm at night with a clear cd case, and to add more rays to the plant, I broke a cd in half and put them back to gether at the base of the plant up side down
