Get early to mid 2000s CBR 600RR you'll be much happier with that bike as a beginner. Your exhaust pipe is under the seat so no exhaust damage if you go down plus weight and balance point on the bike are much better for a beginner been riding for 10 years + now in so cal use a cbr for stunting/ canyon riding and daily riding. Shifting and everythings ez few hours on the bike and you'll get the hang of it for sure. Just never get to ballsy seen to many good riders go down just cuz there been riding for a while and got ballsy. Enjoy
