Hi and welcome to my grow journal... It's my second attempt at growing. Lets just say the first go hit a snag... :cry: nuff said...

Sweet Seeds Fast Bud X8 now on day 32 (7ltr pots)
Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk X4 now on day 32 (7ltr pots)
Barneys Farm Vanilla Kush X4 now on day 8 (11 ltr pots)
Barneys Farm Amnesia Lemon X5 now on day 8 (11 ltr pots)

600w HPS
1.2m x 1.2m x 2m homebox grow tent
Rhino Pro Ventilation kit
Coco pro plus
Canna Coco A&B

Started these ladies straight in the Coco. Took 5-6 days to Germ so they have been showing for probably 26 days. The fast Bud started to flower on day 24. The Pineapple has been on 18/6 with the Fast Bud and is doing very well.

The Amnesia and the Vanilla were germed in the Coco on the 4th December and are just showing there first set of leaves.

Any opinions or advice would be much appreciated.

The Fast Bud is supposed to be compl;ete by day 60. The way they look at the moment I really can't see it. Anyone had any experience growing Sweet Seeds Fast Bud?

The Pineapple Chunk began to flower a couple of days ago, even though it's still on 18/6. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Sorry about the poor quality of the video, I'll get some decent pics of the Fast Bud up in the next day or two...

The Fast Bud is now on day 56 and looks nowhere near ready. White pistils everywhere, very little bud density. It looks like it could go for 3 more weeks at least. Has anyone grown out the Fast Bud before? What affect will switching my light cycle to 12/12 have on an auto strain?

The problem I have is that the Pineapple Chunk is almost 4ft tall, and is supposed to stretch majorly during flower. My grow room is only 2 metres high and I dont have the know how to pull off clever techniques like LST.

Any advice would be great.

Yeah, I've had the same problem. Had to reduce my light cycle to 14/10 a few days ago. Not much of a difference yet, bvut I'm hoping it will help them finish. If they're not done by day 75 they are getting pulled because I simply dont have the room for them.

LST is low stress training. I think it's to do with tying branches down. I haven't got the knowledge or experience to pull it off.

The Fast Bud are pants in truth. The Pineapple, Vanilla, and Amnesia are all looking well. Just cracked some Tangerine Dream beans from Barney's too...

I cant get any pics up til Sunday.

lst-how i do it, in a nutshell. anchore the bottom of your stem, with wire/string etc (i use striped down speaker wire, got loads of it) in the opposite direction you intend to bend the main cola. i use largish pots, so i just punch a hole in the top lip and tie to that. dont loop round the base (or anywhere for that point) to tight, plants thicken and expand you dont want to hinder this.
once base is anchored, tie wire from third node from the top (underneath fan leef stem to prevent slipping);u can tie where ever u want, but the closer to the top, the angle doesnt seem so extreme. now on the opposite side to where u tied the base,punch another hole(this is where you secure the main cola once its all tied and you got it where you want it) and use this to gradually pull the top over. some plants are bendier than others, so be carefull and get the cola where u want by pulling into position over a couple of days. ive crimpped so many plants doing this, but either way it had the desired effect lol. theres loads on here about lst,topping,fim, scrog etc. have a read through, im sure someone will chime in if i missed any thing out... goodluck
