well, first of all i would teach them basic science. second, they should be shown that all religions are the same. they have basically the same stories. and they only tell u that u r a "sinner" because thats what makes people feel weaker than their god, which pushes them to "be better in gods eyes".
once u do this, and the ball starts rolling, it is only a matter of time. people will not go to church as often, which means their kids also dont go. since kids dont grow up learning that garbage, they wont believe in it so much that they refuse to see facts. now that they can see facts, they will be able to absorb information better.
there is probably some flaws in this, considering i just thought it all up. but whatever...

yes, thats true. but when the religion pushes so much that its affecting my life, i take offense to it. i dont think they should be able to control our society like they do. why do i have to live in a christian america?! why cant i live in regular america?

the only part of that that exists already is that we teach science. but even that is only technically true. sure, we teach it. but the information that a kid knows about science coming out of high school is abysmal. they dont teach enough, and the majority of teachers are not good teachers.
