I havent read much on transplanting or starting in certain size pots, but isnt soil soil? How does a plant know the size of the pot and what makes it grow slower if its a smart enough plant to gather that information? Im not speaking from experience, but this is a subject that intrigues me..lol.

I was thinking the same thing but I have No Proof Of either way and i see more and more dixie's around it popular i know that much

roots grow all around the pot and run out off room to grow. which prevents them from growing biggger..

The owner of the company is on these forums under the user name Dudeoflife. He is easy to ask questions of and there are a couple of threads in the forums where people are doing side by side grows with his nutes and some of the other "accepted" formulas and ratios. So far these nutes are holding their own. But what I like as a newbie is the simplicity of the system. He gives you packets that you put in a gallon of water and then water your plants. Simple and seems to be effective.
