First time grower, look for ideas etc...

Now I am confused. My first grow was with two 43 watt 2700k lights per pot in MG soil. They did ok but not alot of production. My second grow I used just one 43 watt 2700k per pot and they seemed burned. I worked on ph and nutrients, but still don't understand how all that works either. The only dif in the two grows besides the light was that I just noticed the second grow was 6 month MG and the first was 3 month. Today starting again, gonna use the 3 month MG. My lights seem to be opposite from what noobgrowr said though. I have 26 watt 6500k bulbs and 43 watt 2700k bulbs, whats the difference and whats best anyone?
No need for all the tudes guys, Its a simple Q with a simple A, use mostly 6500k for veg and mostly 2700k for flower you can mix it up a lil. Happy grow bro!

Make your own thread please and thank you Friguy
p.s. didn't you do the same thing bro, grow in peace my son!

LOL Thanks Farmer No tude here. Not much of a forum kind of guy, but I will learn the rules and conform. I just noticed the post and it seemed to have to do with some things I have questions about. I appreciate your input and will continue on. One other question Does the wattage really have anything to do with it or is it all in the k?

if you have height restrictions just veg them for 2 weeks or less and force them flower. or just force flower from seed they will grow like an auto.

Check for lumens, you want so many lumens per plant! I don't know the numbers off the top of my head but I think they got it in one of the stickys under cfls. Some people run a wide variety of spectrum from blue to red and thats what the K's represent, 6500k being the better blue and 2700k the better red, at least thats what my research has lead me to believe.

MG soil isnt that great to start with ive heard. Im personally am staying away from MG soil as well. There are many subjects on here and its very hard to search through them all to see if it's already been covered and half of the time they are non-active posts. I am trying to make this an active thread which than I will post my link to my grow where you can follow. I bought x2 85 watt CFL one for Veg & one for flowering. I have the flowering tabs from Nirvana and I am also working with FF soil. I have also read on other threads that they suggest around 80 watt per plant depending on how big of the space. If you see this is a little different.
