yes it is a great determinate of the viability of the seeds? I rarely ever have had a floater crack and sprout and then grow into a strong healthy female...even if they crack which is rare they usually grow into weak,slow sickly plants that are more prone to pest and disease....I toss floaters......and thankfully I don't get to many....out of 26 seeds i dropped in water this run, only 2 were floaters, i toss them and plant the sinkers.....3 days later every sinker has broke the soil line..........You mentioned "sinkers" in your first post. Is that a good determinate of the viability of the seeds?
