you guys really meet?? Good for you!

Over the years, I've met over 100 people from various pot sites in person. All of them have been a pleasure to meet ... Med included. Realizing that most who post on these sites don't agree with my politics, out of respect, I make it a point to never discuss politics in these meetings. The conversations revolve around growing ... and of course, smoking/eating pot. What may suprize a lot of you is that pot growers, herb smokers ... come from all walks of life. I've met attorneys, doctors, engineers, bikers, hippies, rastafarians, salesmen, inventors, brilliant people, stupid people, Christians, Jews, Muslims, agnostics and atheists. Politically, I've met Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, Socialists and Communists. I've gotten along with all of them. We may disagree politically, but when it comes to the 'herb ... we are all brothers and sisters.

you can never tell, with some people. in my experience, even if you know someone for some time, they can surprize you with their political leanings.

maybe because 'party' doesn't mean anything anymore. there is no difference. and some people are just die-hard party loyalists.

that's why i alway want to be an independant. i vote for the man, not the party.

I've been an independent for years. This year though I wanted to vote in the primaries so I had to change my affiliation. In Nv. you can only vote for independent candidates in the primaries, but for anyone in the general. I'm pretty sure you can figure out which party I registered with.

As you say, my vote is private, but I'm not ashamed of it, Barak all the way. Ron paul has no chance, and I have issues with his privatization agenda, Plus his head would explode as the 7MM mag hit his brainpan from the elites assassination squad. They'd never let him initiate his agenda.

paul has a chance, its just slight. let's hope he gains more momentum and runs as an independant.

i wont be voting for a republican if he doesn't run. the remaining candidates are just corporate puppets. (but so is hillary) i never thought i would vote republican anyway. but i hate the dem's ideas of big federal government, socialized programs and higher taxes.

I'm switching over to Obama I decided. After seeing today's primary results, I'm giving up on Ron Paul. And out of the 4 electable candidates: Obama, Hilary, McCain, and Romney. I like Obama the best.
