Yeah.. it really goes both ways. Dictionary and wikiIts called kief not keef
marihuana (it says it on my card too) is an acceptable spelling of marijuana, it used to be spelled with the "H" a lot back in the day.
also, according to dictionary.com keef is an acceptable spelling...although i dont agree with the definitions..
kif , kaif , keef , kef or kief (kɪf, kiːf)
n
1. another name for marijuana
2. any drug or agent that when smoked is capable of producing a euphoric condition
3. the euphoric condition produced by smoking marijuana
Go to Google and type in "define keef" It shows the results for kief and asks if you meant kief instead of keef. I've never seen it spelled k-e-e-f until today. Go to eBay and search for a keef, you'll get a ton of books by an author named Carolyn Keef. then try searching for kief.....Yeah.. it really goes both ways. Dictionary and wiki

See the difference?
If you were selling grinders on eBay and could only use the word keef or kief in your listing, which one would you go with?
and btw, marijuana has several accepted variations of spelling...
You are going to suggest I'm ignorant for not coming across an incorrect spelling in the past? That makes a lot of sense.Dude... just like marijuana has gained many forms of accepted spelling, so has kief...
Do you think they came up with all the spellings for Marijuana in one sitting?
This is not the first time I've seen it spelled that way.. I'm not saying you're ignorant but just because you didn't see it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
Accept it.
Bootylicious is also in the dictionary. Clearly a word from the days of yore!
I said I wasn't calling you ignorant. But you ignored that. You are going to suggest I'm ignorant for not coming across an incorrect spelling in the past? That makes a lot of sense.
Are you just as ignorant, for ignoring my advice to try the word in Google or eBay and looking at the results? I'm not calling you ignorant, just sayin....
you can call it what you will, I'll stick with the common spelling that is traditionaly accepted...
Thanks
Type in define keef in Google and THIS is what you get, right at the top of the page....And I did what you said and I found several references to Keef and Kief within the same articles.
Peace
that fact that you even used the word indicates to me it DID indeed come to your mind and you decided to use the word and disguise your insult...I said I wasn't calling you ignorant. But you ignored that.
And I'll keep spelling "you're" correctly.that fact that you even used the word indicates to me it DID indeed come to your mind and you decided to use the word and disguise your insult...
You are not dealing with an idiot here, as I'm sure your not.
You go on spelling it keef, I'l go on spelling it the correct way..
