CD my friend, if I ever have buds on this plant as big as a coke can I will love you forever for putting it out there and personally fly you to me for a smoke..lol. Im not saying it couldnt happen or that I dont want it to happen, I just didnt think that it can be possible with a plant this size.

If there is anything more that I can do to make coke can sized buds..cough up the info folks...lol. I am more then willing to shoot the Moon.

Right on man..I appreciate that. Its about paying attention to me. I read..reread..read again..made some choices...employed them..tada..magic...lol. Rather than have to rely on someone else to provide sub par at times materials to me, I just decided to do it myself. My passion shows up in what I have done so far. Its far from over and much more room for mistakes but Ill stick it out..lol. I gont ever foresee myself having a full on grow lab with high tech this and that but this is personal and I will do the best with what I have. Its fun sharing info with and learning from each other.

Hahahahaha..am I bad for pimping out my girl? You know you want some..lmao. I may have to stop the rain brother...I have about 2-3 inches left of light adjustment left. But then again, tomorrow I am going to LS her a bit more. Im not sure how mush stress that will do..I am not doing much, just little movements. We shall see. I am hoping she stops going up and just gets fat..lol. Maybe I can leave a box of Oreo's in there overnight? I still have 6 weeks left of flowering.

And brother if I am lying I am dying..lol. This is my onliest attempt ever and i am having a ball. I still worry some but I feel good about it. Actually growing something in and of itself is cool. I may also do vegetables for the wife and I next summer..lol. Get stoned and grow food. Sounds good to me.

dude this is so funny. two things i wanna say... first, going by the crazy stretch that monk0 had on his plant, you might wanna look into bushmasters (or whatever it's called) to prevent too much more vertical growth given that you still have 6 weeks of flowering left.

and second, speaking of vegetables... while i was on my growing hiatus, i found a random seedling growing on a dirty kitchen rag, and decided to plant it. turns out it was a tomato plant, and i've been using my grow skillz on that bitch (actually i don't know if tomatos are female). check out this side-by-side day 10 vs day 88... i think there's still 5-6 weeks before harvest... you can't see the little tomatos in the pic, but they're there lol.



so yeah... anyway, sorry to threadjack! just thought i'd share my vegetable project.

Arch, I may have missed it but did you end up trying the molasses? and I also read earlier that if you put some more blue on it that it will help slow down stretching during flower, I have no idea if this is true or not but I will be looking into it soon.

Nice homer..I am serious about a garden next spring. Thats a very cool tomato story. I love it! As for her growing. I was able to make some more adjustments today on her LST and it looks like I will be good. her buds are already starting to get more dense and I cant wait till they get FAT.

I have been using molasses from day one but thanks for bringing it up anyway just in case..appreciate you looking out. I dont know what "blue" is. Fill me in and I can tell you one way or the other.

Thanks D.tea! She was a short fat little girl that was going out in every direction so I just followed her natural growth when I stared LST on her. Some plants grow tall so they require LST initial to control vertical movement. As they grow you guide them around the rim of the pot. Each one will be different I am sure. I am sure that your grow will look good also..just stay with it and dont get to complicated. I was getting overwhelmed at the start especially since I didnt know what te fuck I was doing. Now I am kind of following her..letting her tell me whats up. If she isnt broke I wont attempt o fix her. I read this some where else and it is worth repeating...paraphrased of course..but it is that plants grow all by themselves naturally without any human interference..so do your best to imitate nature and let the plant guide you. The more complicated something gets...the more chances you have to make mistakes.

From what I have read 4 weeks would be a minimum. Curing has something to do with the continued slow chemical breakdown of the sugars and starches in the marijuana that enhances the smoke, flavor and taste. I cant get terrible specific but thats what I have taken from reading. Those starches and sugars that need to break down cause the marijuana to taste harsh. Also this allows chlorophyll that is in the plant to break down making your smoke taste less like plants. Its safe to say that at least 4 weeks is a good bet for curing. Feel free to share your experiences with this, as many will benefit for sure.

I also took a few more pictures today. My girl is still growing nicely. She was watered today with ph'd water only till I had some runoff. Please dont confuse a slight runoff with making it rain. Making it rain is watering with at least as much ph'd water that it would take to fill your growing container twice or more.

I guess I should change it to full flowering. I knew my plants sex before I started the 12/12 light cycle. Says so earlier in this thread. They are called pre-flowers. Full flowering..which is what I am referring to when I say "Flowering" means full on pistol blooming begins. The switching to a 12/12 light cycle stimulates the beginning of the flowering process to force "Full Flowering". Sorry, I am definitely not trying to start any confusion. Its just my opinion but saying a plant has started flowering before it even shows pistols doesnt make any sense. That would mean every fall when the light cycle changes naturally that every plant that makes a flower is "Flowering" even though there is no evidence of a flower present.

Thanks for bringing it up..I am sure some had gotten confused by this and not posted. Some I am sure understand exactly what I mean. Its all cool beans. Sorry again..just going by what I have been reading.

Right on bro! This is my first merry go around ride and I am still feeling my way. I did start the 12/12 light cycle to force full flowering with a 24 hour period of complete darkness. I think that may have attributed to an early showing of "frost"..lol. I also plan to end with at least 24 hours and possibly 36 hours of darkness to boost the resin/trichome development. Its all a first for me...I am still just hoping to finish successfully. For both of us even..)

I seen CD is using molasses toward the end of his grow. what benefits does this bring?more resin etc?and when do most start this and will you?

I use Grandma's Molasses, 1 tablespoon per gallon during both vegging and flowering and even during flushing. GrandMa's Unsulfured Molasses. Yellow label on bottle. The CalMag and Iron in GrandMa's is higher in percentage than what Pure Blend Pro CalMag is too. You can use it during the entire veg and bloom. If used in veg, just give once weekly at 1 tbls per gallon. Same amount throughout bloom, including during the flush phase. Makes your buds very sweet and good after a proper dry and cure. Treat it like any other CalMag product basically. Dont use to much, it will cause a lockout of the other nutes.

I run cal-mag in my mix..???
