Ok lemme clarify who I am. I am a stone cold noob grower that realy just wants to get a crap load of weed for themselves before they leave for college. Im relatively paranoid...as this can probably be attributed to my noobiness. Because I live in a rural area my plan is to go into the woods (about 200 ft?) and plant 1-2 females in an area close by some Pine trees (b/c they stay green all year ofcourse) However just a few years back this big ass grow op got busted because of FLIR (cornfields) so I am wondering what one might do to hide from choppers and still get sunlight... also I have a GPS.

The state I am in is WI.

I'd go further back then 200' and also plant a lot more plants, because you are going to lose some to insects, animals, weather, etc.... I'd plant about 10 and hope 3-4 make it. That would send you to college with a stash. Read up on guerrilla growing. You'll learn tips on how to haul water or pipe it in, locating ideal spots, deterring animals and pests, camouflaging your plants, etc...

when ur planting everything should be green not just pines... its spring if not then its still to cold... u need to have direct sunlight to grow so nothing under other trees... and as far as the chooper if ur only planning on 2 girls then u should be fine to put them anywhere. 2 plants are really hard to see from the sky unless u plant them in a bean field of something..lol

Come on guy, growing under a tree is common place. It offers shelter from heavy rains. The sun isn't always at high noon, straight overhead. The plants will do fine picking up early or late day sun. It doesn't need to be in the middle of a field.....

Not trying to make ya look foolish or anything Goblin, just wanting to smack down that bad advice about trees....

Were would you recommend I go to read learn about guerrilla growing? Also my water plan is to let mother nature take care of my babys, and on really dry streaks id sneak in a milk jug and give it some pond water. Hows that?

i dont no about were u live but here on planet earth it is shady under r trees and any grower knows that the shade will make the plants assume the days r shorter than they r which will result in little yield..

I don't know what planet you are on, but down here in the south, high noon shade is welcome due to the heat and the stress it puts on a plant.

Use your brain.... The sun rises at the horizon, and works it's way across the sky. As it does so, the angle it hits the plant changes. If you plant it near a tree on the right location, you can catch plenty of morning and late afternoon sun. The shade in broad daylight ain't going to fool the plant into thinking the days are shorter....

You might want to venture outside and do some sight seeing. Your observations are way off.

And before you reply back to make an ass out of yourself, you made the first smart ass comment, so you had this reply coming.... ( here on planet earth)

Does your personal experience have anything to do with growing outside? Do you believe the sun stays at high noon all day and all plants must be out in open to provide a harvest?

Go to Youtube and search up outdoor grows.... No one goes into a forest or the woods to plant in a wide open area with no shade. That is just not thinking....

ok tell him to plant his plants under a bunch of pine trees.... and when he get lil yeild he can blame you... all my experience is outdoors and common since says if u go under the some trees the sun doent shine.. hince why there is usually no grass under them... if he is on the edge where the sun will hit his plants before it gets blocked thats fine but he said he was going to plant under some pine trees, if thats what u like then cool but i like my girls thrieving not stunted

Ok hows this? I hide some jugs and allow them the collect rain water..also I dont think my babys would grow with stagnant pond water...

Hope this helps you visualize that most smart growers keep close to trees and look for holes in the forest's canopy that offer a few hours of direct sunlight. The plant will get plenty of reflected light as well. Remember, the sun is not a 1000 watt HPS in the sky.... It blows that lamp away....

Hope the picture helps you to see the idea that a tree doesn't block the sun all day, only in the high noon, when the sun is..... guess what..... straight overhead....

thanks for that... but i never said id would blocked it all day and thats only one tree, he was talking about planting in a bunch of pine trees, put more trees in that diagram and ur light would go down. and i seems as if u have changed ur mind.. first u say it doesnt need direct light then u turn around and say it would get enough direct light and to look for holes in the canopy...what r u saying?? sounds like the same thing ive been saying...it will work but u gotta find a spot where some sun shines through... glad i could u agree finally...
