Sooo... after seeing osme grows that seemd to obe enhanced by LST I gave it a try on two plants in my SOG op as a test run so to speak.

I did the snake thing, waited til lthey were on the third node too start. Both failed MISERABLEY.

Even positioned so that both sides of leaves were layed out perfectly they all seemed too get yellow and brown spots on the bottom nodes, then to the top. Non of them would get past 3 nodes withouth turning yellow and brown and falling off even as my other plants in the same condtions minus LST are doing aweseome...

What did I do wrong?...is LST just a bunch of shit and your better off growing normaly? :?:

what does that mean?? u have to tie them opposite of the way u wanna train them to keep them stable.. after that u can pull against the first tie in the opposite direction without fucking with the root system...not sure what ur post meant "Nahhh lolll im not retardeddd man haha " did u or didnt u??

"lst show me what you got" thread, TONS of pages! Ive added my 2 cents there too" https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/289968-show-me-what-u-got.html#post3637290 "I dont really bother with lst anymore. I control height by topping in veg and early flower, or I just got lazy and snap the top colas over if into 3rd wk or later of flower. Believe it or not, The huge main colas I snap over, turn back up within 2 weeks, or at least close. aside from a tad mishapen, colas seem fine. Maybe you just lsted em a tad early? Sounds like you burned the udersides of the leaves with lots of lighting? Anyhow, best of luck to ya!:leaf:

so u might be retarded..lol..j/k well next time that might help
Haha dick. Nahhh I REALLY dont think that was it honeslt because the whole point of that (if im not misinformed) is too make sure you dont damage your root system by accident. The plants roots were never damaged or stressed. The spotting saw was similar (mabe even the same) of that of a plant not receiveing proper lighting.

A counter tie/anchor is a must. And I wait until the 4th or 5th nodes. Also the first tie down you only bend them over a smidgen and then after a day or so pull that tie a little tighter...and the next couple days a little tighter...so on until she's bent to where you like. I use soft cotton twine and a slip knot (how to youtube videos no doubt) so I can loosen or tighten the string as it needs it.
