Advance Nutrients to strong???

Ive had a flood/drain system running for 4 weeks now and I finally got my ppm meter the other day. I've def got some nute burn on the leaves, but when I check the ppm it said only 250 after subtracting 108 from my tab water. That seems to be pretty damn low compared to the charts Ive collected. I changed my nutes this morning came out to 300 for the start of the 5th week if veg. They are growing quite well just the nute burn is kinda bothering me. Anyone else had problems with AN being to strong? I'm going with half the suggested strength.

I kept my ppm around 500 all the way through veg...I had a lttle burn on the tips of the leaves...but they were growing well...AN must be good they use it on Weeds...

Oh AND you can't simply subtract the ppms from your water. It counts. Years ago I asked a hydro store worker if I had to include the ppms added by stuff like Hydroguard, Dark Energy, etc. and got a lecture on how it counts and the dude was CORRECT.

I keep my ppm at around 500-600 for veg. I flower between 800-1200 deends on the week. I use AN and I flush with final phase, but grow in soil. I dont think its nute burn. Did you calibrate you ppm meter?

I start at 2 weeks with 300ppm AN Sensi AB and and additives of about 500ppm with no burn (arjan's Haze). Now I'm in week 5 flower and Imax my meter (2000ppm) but I know that I'm at about 2400ppm on the .7 conversion scale which should be around 2000ppm on the hanna scale (.5 conversion).
Some strains like more food then others though so be careful and up gradually.

Good luck!

So the ppm in my tap water should go with the total overall ppm I'm shooting for? My water temp is usually between 60-70 F. I keep the ph in range that was the first thing I got before I even started. 5.2-6.0. I think they look healthy just a little burn on the tips.

I don't think it's burn either unless you started them right from seedlings on nutes.
Have you tried RO water?

Keep in mind that even though 108ppm is not much it also matters what those 108ppm consists of. I'm a noob but would recommend you switch to ro from the store for a while, just to see if it is the culprit.

BTW, pics would really help!!!
