start some seeds. give them five days of veg. flower.

see if your flower times hold tru

:blsmoke:

ps, what, do you think i'm lying to you or something? thank you caligrown
of course i don't think your lying.....are you the only one aloud to have an opinion on flowering?...I've read all the grow books too, and also taken classes in botany and horticulture...am I just supposed to agree with you?I don't get an opinion?

a 5 day old plant is a seedling and would be stressed by early flowering this would extend the flowering period...............

i have a bloom room...it's on 12/12, when I put my plants in there I start the count.....same with every grower I now.........and same with evry thing I've ever read...this is the first time I've ever heard of this being a debate.....:peace::blsmoke:

you're the first well read grower i've met that didn't under stand the concept of flower. flower means flowers. if the plant has no flowers, it's not flowering, regardless of the light cycle. 12/12 will force flower. that means that it will cause the plants to start flowering if they are sexually mature. HOWEVER, a plant will not flower UNTIL it is sexually mature, and has preflowers. once it has preflowers, if you are in 12/12, you will be flowering, and can start your cycle. if you are vegging, then the first day of 12/12 will be your first day of flower, as your plants are already sexually mature.

stress has nothing to do with why seedlings take longer to flower than the normal flower time. they still have to veg; they just do so with only 12 hours of daylight. once they are mature, they flower, and the flower period starts.

12/12 is not a flower time, it's a photoperiod. that's all.

your opinion is just wrong and you are educating newbs poorly at best by saying this repeatedly. cannabis cultivators worldwide consider flowering the appearance of hairs.
go buy a high times and read it shitty as they are, youll learn the error of your ways.
till then, quit telling people wrong b/s when there are several EXPERINCED users telling you differently.

ok the day you started 12/12 on a timer, you started a different light regime. Thats IT.
the day your bitches show their hairs is the first day of flower. THATS the reason they call it flowering......because flowers appear. (who would have guessed)

i once had an old lady whos mother was convinced that chicks could get pregnant by eating semen. despite all of mine and her daughters efforst she still thinks her way. she is wrong but its her belief. I just want you to know that you are wrong000420. but you are still entitled to your beliefs even so wrong they are.....:P
first day of flowering example. and a good one too!
so when you see pre-flowers in veg you start your count weird,,,,,,,guess you are entitled to your opinion too...never heard of anyone doing this though.......crazy

so from now on as soon as you see a pistil, even 3 weeks into veg in your veg room.....you should start your count...if you plant has an 8 week flowering time.....and you veg it for another 3 weeks after seeing pistils then put it into bloom..it will be ready in 5 weeks of 12/12....

wait no that's wrong it will be 8 weeks of 12/12...or flowering.......you guys are so stoned:blsmoke::blsmoke::blsmoke::blsmoke:

what is your issue? don't you comprehend english?

preflowers in veg dont' start the count; preflowers in FLOWER do. if you have preflowers in veg, then you will be flowering your first day of 12/12. if you do not have preflowers when you go 12/12, you are not flowering yet. you're just on 12/12.

what's so hard to understand?

dude I've been growing a long time I am experienced...what I'm saying is not BS....when you put your plants into flowering they should already have pistils on them from when they were vegging or you are flowering them to soon...you should read a good grow book from a good author dude..........flowers are a sign of maturity not full on blooming....they get them during veg first...

veg is just that. veg, no matter what signs of SEXING it is showing with preflowers.

8 weeks is a typicall budding time of a plant when it is being flowered. pre flowers have nothing to do with floweri g whatsoever other than showing the plant is mature enough to flower.

grow from clone dork. then all of your plants will have pre-flowers. it dosent mean they are flowering and NEITHER does a 12/12 time.

When you change the light cycle to 12/12 you are going to start to forcce the plants to go into the flowering stage. You may not see pre flowers for up to 2 weeks or more. I start counting the time once I see thee tiny preflowers or hairs some may call them. That way I know from the showing time to harvest. They can take awhile to show, so go by the time frame you start seeing the pre-flowers. In the end weeks, I use a microscope to check the trichomes and harvest when I like what I see.:peace:

yep, i am. you are not understanding what we're saying, and what you are spouting as your experience is false. you are wrong. you need to stop now, before you start fucking up n00bs who are looking for accurate info.
no that's your opinion.......and if noobs want accurate info they should read up on phytochrome....it's in most good grow books...and for that matter read good text on cannabis horticulture..and botany......light cycles are not just light cycles they effect the plant...we put plants into a bloom room of 12/12 for a reason...

go get fdd. maybe his god like stature will make this guy understand...... if he says that a 12/12 timer is flowering that will change the rule for all of gardening since the shit started with the sun. there are only 1 day of 12/12 lighting outside and that dosent even happen most places, so how do plants learn to flower outside then?

this is not an opinion; this is a fact. it has nothing to do with what i think, but what actually happens in reality.

i've been making green things emerge from the ground for over 25 years babe; i think you're the one in need of some reading and botany schooling ;)

this is what I'm talking about right here...pre-flowers don't happen in 12/12..they happen in veg...and you should not be putting immature plant's into 12/12...pre-flowers are a sign of maturity not a sign that flowering has started...they while show in 24 hours of light during veg......
