Always wanted to try and make an ornamental plant like a star think I would try a squareand then move on to more complex shapes it easy to make a circle but a square now that migh be a lil harder
And last year when I had my tomato plants growin wish I had a picture but I took a 55 gallon tote and split it 4 ways with plastic sheets then let my tomatoes get about 8 inches tall andyhen tied them down to make an X eventually the tomatoes got about 4 ft tall and were very stable unlike most tomatoes I have found these babies didn't wanta fall over but it's a very good idea a 55 gallon tote split 4 ways is almost 15 gallons of soil per plant and if trained properly I believe it would be a big space saver considering all plants are growing Ina tote that's only 2 ft wide by 1.5 ft Long and a foot tall or so would be an easy way to make a LST with the SOG technique jus my 3 cents on the idea
