Fast cure with an xbox!

I did this on accident, after a 7 day dry i jared it and left it near the TV. Some idiot hooked the xbox 360 and had it laying flat and tha jar was right behind it. The heat that fans out behind the xbox pretty much hits the jar. So a week later when i open the jar while they was playing the jar felt warm. So i decided to smoke sample and it taste fuckin good! And bud appeal was the same! I know fast dry decreases potency but i cant tell the difference and it still beats medical weed.

yes yet another ps3 fan boy down with xbox haha but very interesing i dont know this would be considered fast curing conserdering the low heat of the system (assuming your not running the triple light heat warning) which may be y its smokes so good who knows you may have run across something here

From what ive seen, its strain based since my weed is pure sativa it came out soft and sticky from the inside. The weed smells great too for an outdoor bud. But if i left it behind the xbox for more than 2 weeks it can go crispy when broken up. Bud still looks fluffy though. I seen a cfl fast cure method of sticking your bud inside the spiral, it made my fluffy bud dense and also smoke harsh in a good way and somehow added couch lock too my pure sativa since light degrades thc but for my purpose thats good i can still sleep at night :) but the xbox method seems to cure better just a longer type of fast cure

i generally like to wait until i hear the first crunch from bending the stem. i like my shit sticky icky!!! i find if i wait until i can snap the stem off, its too dry and i lose weight and appeal.

It will take 2-3 days before most of the moisture is out from a small nug in a small jar, and also before you smoke it let it dry on untill it breaks up easily. If it dosent that means its still wet inside.

nice. i always wondered about manipulating the cure with heat. i notice that the warmer my jars get the wetter the bud seems to get in a shorter amount of time. i tend to avoid this since i don't want mold but if your shit was bone dry you probably did yourself a favor. maybe i'll try this the next time i overdry my bud.

Definately try but not with the whole harvest lol, id reccamend using the smallest jar or one of then plastic medicine caps, best to go a few nugs at a time becuase during the cure buds are still very wet, but as soon as you see like water burp till bone dry again and then proceed again untill you bud breaks up easily. Its a great method to get you by when u have no bud to smoke.

haha thats funny, i have been doing that for about 4 years, was trimming and just had random buds all over the place and went to pick on up and it had been setting out behind the box for a good 4 or 5 hours and it was smokeable. no jar or anything just setting out. it was a pretty small uig but ever since then i use that method to taste test when i think they are getting ripe so i can harvest when im perfectly satified.
