Bag Seed VS Bought Seed

I just finished growing a round of bagseed out...I chose bagseed that was collected on tarps, 16x18 over many months and would see several blends in each block, started vegging when i cracked a pill bottle full of mature seeds, I ended up with 15 females. It caused me to have an uneven canopy for sure, only one was more of indica (which I kept 2 clones from which are flowering). I have 1000w hortilux bulb, optimal temps, would like to add a burner but for now use CO2 tanks, had a hermi do some light pollinating (I got lucky and only ended up with about 10 seeds affecting a total of 3 of the plants). Every one was different, smelled dank, resin production varied but all looked good (when you spend thousands at a time and still have a wish-list that rivals a vehicle, it better damn well look good). Some of the intial seeds grew like they were retarded. All the while I'm growing these bagseed, tending them, I'm reading articles, prowling the forums and gaining access to some local growers. While this bagseed (hereafter reffered to as B.S.) flowered I had already ordered some fem seeds (Super Lemon Haze The Church) and totally fucked up the germination lost a bunch and still what I ended up with was far superior to anything I seen out of the B.S. 25 females not a single keeper. My next goal is to order 10 pack of reg beans (TGA or Cali Connect etc.) and find me a keeper. I'm not in medical state, I would never run that risk or the electric for some B.S.
less that seed came from worthy stock...You guys might give the wrong impression that its worthwhile to grow 100 oz seeds out and it's not, its a waste of money, the ONLY positive I can claim is a little experience...a little.

you just had bad luck almost every bagseed i grow has worked great only use kind bud seed and you will only get kind bud

It depends it is so many variables. The seed quality is not that big bag in seeds and genetics could be crappy overall. I am not saying not to use seed bag I have used all three of my growing up. Each seed bag used his time Ive turned out to be male. Next time I will have a clone. If you get a seed from a site with a good reputation genetics will be good and you can buy feminized seeds.
