Headband and Chemdog! 600 watt Hps

Whats up my fello RIUers! Well so the last journal I started I ended up giving the plants away because I was able to get my hands on some headband and chemdog clones! Was really excited about this. I've smoked some headband and shit was amazing!! I got the clones on Wednesday so they have been with me for 3 days and I'm already seeing new growth since I brought them home. Ohh and I think i'm going to try and take 2 of them and put them into DWC system 5 gallon buckets.. I've been doing a lot of reading and research on how to go from soil to hydro and I think that I will be able to do this without harming the plants. I'm only going to do this to one of each strain so that way if anything bad does happen I won't lose my strains and i'll still have one of each lol.

About my veg box.. The box is 2x2x4 and built out of 2x4's and osb board. Just built a frame out of the 2x4's and slapped the osb on there for walls. Put a door on the box that locks, and all I have left to do for the box is an intake and outtake hole. I'm having trouble getting my hands on a jig saw lol. Might just go buy one this weekend. For the time being i'm just leave the door open.. Temps stay at right about 72 76 degrees.

Here are some pics of the clones I just picked up wednesday. The only thing that i'm worried about right now is the leaf curling. Anyone know what this may be from?





Lets see what else can I let you know about the goodness here... Hmm.... I don't know.... I guess thats about it for the time being! Hope you guys will have as much fun watching this with me as I do trying to grow with all the help from you guys! I know that I wouldn't be able to do the job as well as i'm hoping with the help from you! So far far in advance I thank you!

Good luck with the transplant to DWC, I've done it before with little ill effects. Just make sure to get ALL that soil out so it doesn't give you problems later on down the road.

Hey whats up man! Don't worry man I'll be eating them chips with you! And yea the way I think i'm going to do the switch from soil to dwc is actually an idea I got from someone on here! I'm going to get a couple 5 gallons.. put some water in them.. and really get most the shit off in one buckets then do a light washing in the other bucket with some superthrive in it. Hopefully this will minimize any ill effects that may happen! Anyway glad to have you here and going to check yours out right now!

Hey Piff thanks for stopping by! And out of all those the purple kush is a great smoke to stay moving.. If i wanted to get knocked out its all about that cheese.. Shits soooo potent!! I love it for sure some of my fav that i've gotten in awhile!

I try to top by the time they have six nodes so I end up with 4 or 5 good branches. Any time I do more I end up with popcorn buds instead of big fat colas. Tie those bitches down when you top them. That way your exposing all the nodes to better lighting.

Quick update.. with couple pics.. Topped one chemdog, and one headband the other day.. Going to start with some lst here this weekend.. Also going to build a couple 5 gallon buckets also this weekend. I'm having problems with one of my chemdog clones.. Seems to be a way different color, and the leaves keep curling regardless of what I do. Take a look in the pic and lemme know what you guys think the problem is. The first pic is the headbands and the second one is the chemdogs.

Looking back through your previous pics I wonder, has your chemdog shown and real new growth? She seems to be the same size in all of your pics. Has she rooted out into your soil real good yet? Just kinda looks like she didn't take for some reason and she's slowly eating herself to death..... if that makes sense. Could be wrong, good luck man.

Hey whats up man! You know the bigger of the chems, has new growth on her, but the little one I snapped her durring transport.. Tapped her up and have just been prayin that she makes it. I think i'm giong to transplant into bigger pots in a few days.. See how things end up going.

PS- We had a little trouble with rooting our clones initially but after a sea kelp watering they never really looked back. If your baby snapped chem is still having trouble it may help.

I have 2 of the headbands, and 2 of the chemdogs.. And the baby that's snapped is starting to look a lot better! greening up a lot and starting to get some new growth! But i'll definitely keep that sea kelp idea around.. Never know with some cuttings lol!

Here's a quick update with some pics.. Plants are looking real nice lately! Starting to show a lot of new growth! The pics with the little runt are the chemdog, and the pics with the 2 that look normal are the headband.
