Can you get in trouble for posting pictures on here?

So lets say I had a huge grow operation and I took some pictures of it and posted them on here, is there any way I could get in trouble for that?

Save your pics until you're done with your grow then post, unless you need help. Never show anyone a large grow in progress.

im going to post exactly what i posted in xxrolandxx's thread in the newbie forum via copy and paste

uploading photos from your cell phone is stupid sure ALLOT of people on here do it i choose not to. i dont even upload photos from my ip address the thing about it is out of the hundreds of thousands of posts and members on this site alone (not to mention millions more on others) all of which are prably uploading photos as well, they are going to nail me to the cross??? well thats a stretch for anybody to think of especially for some local cops first of all they would have to find out if you even live in the states then exactly what state you live in then if you live in a medical state then if you are a medical user and on and on. the truth is no local force is going to have the shear man power to sift through billions of posts and track billions of ip addresses till they find the few in there city, the only ones that would even attempt a op like that would be the feds and i can honestly say i have only seen a few in the years i have been on the net that are worthy of the feds to even turn their heads. they very well cant just storm your house for some hodge podge bull shit you write on the net. however i understand your paranoia as i am a very paranoid person myself (i have kids and girlfriend) i just prefer to put it into places i am, not places i could be.

I read a thread like this the other week and there was talk of gangs and thugs teamib up with comp nerds trackin uploaded pics and goin rounds peeps places and robbing them........ Don't know how true but worth thinking about ???

Why would a gang of thugs come steal my not yet ready pot plants? Wouldn't it make more sense to follow an 80 year old woman in a cadilac with a closet full of money home and bump her on the head than show up at my house and get shot trying to steal some not yet ready plants from my basement? I have dozens of other things worth way more than my plants to steal, and so does every neighbor. If I'm gonna jack somebody, I'd take thier jewelry and guns and shit. Not a bunch of heavy ass plants that I need to care for to finish them. I know there are scumbags that will rip your shit, but as far as a team of thugs, sounds like a poorly thought out plan to me....

COPS WOULD NOT WASTE THE GAS TO GO TAKE A LOOK AT YOUR GROW. Cops want 600+ plant busts. THOES HAPPEN ALL THE TIME HERE IN CALI.. they would laugh at anything under 50 plants

I have known of three busts that were made by either local or County cops. Now that is only three out of many years on many boards with many pictures having been posted .. but it can happen.

Normally when it happens some higher up law enforcement agency spots something and passes it on to the locals ... but again, it is rare and unlikely unless you do something blatantly stupid where something that is very clear and identifiable that would give you away shows up in your pictures.

When you live outside a little "Mayberry" town like I do a four or six plant bust is a big deal. It gets the cops pictures in the papers and they always claim each plant was worth some absurdly high figure, like $10k, and they use it to try to make people think they do more than hang around at the biscuit place in the morning and the barbecue shack in the afternoon and evening.

Do not underestimate a true Barbey Fife. A couple tiny pot busts to him is what he might see as his ticket out of the sticks to get to a big city force or maybe County or even State level.
