Is this nute burn?? pretty sure but I need a second opinion please

Well I'm on day 15 of flowering and I started feeding full strength for week 3 yesterday and they are turning colors and lookin damaged. I follow a feeding guide done by a local hydro shop for GH 3part. I've used it before with success.

Is this just over fert? or...what? btw I just sprayed them down to get rid of all the pesticide I have used lately( reason for shiny wet appearance ) I don't think I can spray much longer now they are budding. I appreciate any help very much.

Either nute burn or a magnesium deficiency both problems look almost identical, I think you have nute burn. It may have also been caused from the foliar feeding possibly? I say flush for a week and then go back to your regular nute schedule. But im still a rookie.

anyone else have an idea? this is my second grow and the last ones could handle massive amounts of nutes so I haven't really seen alot of nute burn...thanks for commenting ahead of time

Since he sprayed after the symptoms appeared, its not the spray causing the problem.



Back off on nutrients ppm by about 20% and you'll be fine.

if anything id say calcium or nute burn or the more likly suspect incorrect PH

It looks just slightly burned to me. I wouldn't flush 100% tho, I would just lower the ppms slightly (take rkitty's advice by 20%) and that should make the difference. Plants still look great!

GH is pretty run of the mill stuff, its what i used for my first few grows, and I had the exact same problems, leaf tips and edges were yellow/brown with spotting. I would say switch to a better nutrient program, Fox Farm or Botanicare in my experience work very well. Also never use the amounts the bottle says, if the bottle says use 2tsp per gallon use half that, or hell even a quarter of that. GH is a salt based nutrient, so its always best to flush and start at quarter strength. I see you are using soil, I would recommend a dry food called happy frog-bulb food, it has all your major and minor nutrients in low concentrations ( 3-8- is 9 bucks for a bag, which is cheap for the amount you get, is loaded with beneficial bacteria and humic acids. It breaks down over time, I add one tsp per gallon of container ( so a 5 gal bucket gets 5 tsps ) you can add it right on top of the soil, then mix it in ( its low concentrations wont burn the roots) and just add water with big bloom or supplement of your choice. im sure this feeding plan your hydro shop gave you wasnt for pot. So do a good flush and start over at 20 to 25% of whatever you were feeding,
and make sure your ph was good, good luck

Yeah it's specifically designed for cannabis with kool bloom ratios included, it's private, I know the owners. I used the guide on my last crop of ogkush and it was perfect this strain is apparently just alot more susceptible to overload. Ph is @ 5.7-6.1 ( soilless is hydro remember ) and yeah it's time to back off forsure, they are burning baddd.
