Yeah man definitely try to find results man its kind of hard to find but like dunit said IRISHBOY has a clean setup and ledbudguy but they are with different LED's look at your options and definitely dont just jump the gun and buy whats out there do your research if you have to private message ledbudguy or IRISHBOY and shoot them some questions im sure they will be happy to answer anything man. Definitely take your time and dont just go with any LED especially if you have the money...

Get those good Isis ones hes talking about, Get Spectras, or get Kesssils.

For six grand you could probably get at least 10 Spectra 240w units which would give each light about 5sq feet of space which is exactly what Mike says is their core saturation area. Since it would be a bulk order you could probably get another unit I imagine. 2400 watts per hour

For six grand you could probably get at least 30 Kessil lights which would give each light 8sq feet which is pretty good for them to (who knows how many more in a bulk order). 1080 watts per hour

You should probably get light movers if you have 2 rooms of that size to cover. That way you could get even more out of your lights! Kessils probably wouldn't grow as much, but they'd use less than half as much power.

If I had 6 grand and the same job to fullfill as you, I would go with Spectras on light movers

so havnt done this in awhile. hello every one. This has been a major distress and digest this last 2 days for this particular thread. I want you to know that im very serious with the led lights. I did a hps 400 grow in the summer last year and it was alright. 4-5 ounces. not bad. but lol, the heat stress was the prelimenary reason why i wont go with hps or metal halide ever again. I have been scouring the internet the past year for led info and to tell you the truth. its next to nill on info. I recently bought a black star led 180 6 band veg/clone 2011 model. the light is very comparable to a metal halide. I did this because i want to try out a shit brand, and see how it stacks up to penetrator, growledhydro, spectra, grow perfect or isis. I will be doing a bubbleponics system to really enhance this light. But i want to use to kessil magentas and 1 penetrator possible the 126w. I will do a grow journal. it is sooo F.in CRAZY how much this shit costs. is gotham lighting a shit company? i understand that you get what you pay for but seriously.... Led tech has been around for awhile, its only been applied to growing in the last 7-9 years. Couldnt you use a blackstar and get good results. Also does anyone know of any kessil grow journals or blackstar grow journals. cuz ive seen plenty penetrator grows.

Well theres not many kessil grows or blackstars at all and if there are some there in the process. I know kush groove finished a grow up on a 240w blackstar but vegged mostly with CFL's and the bud looked great!. Like I said there are not many grows on these brand of lights going on right now but soon there will be I myself purchased 2 240w blackstars and will be doing a journal as soon as I can fix the problem with babies in veg or just plant new ones due to my own stupid half ass growing techniques lol... Right now I beleive kaptainkron is doing a grow with a 240w blackstar and a couple other people on here also are doing a couple grows with them just no thorough journals. To answer your question I dont think blackstar or lighthouse hydroponics is a shit company them being both the same company just different names they really dont bullshit you on the coverage area of the lights at least there honest on that not like other companies stating there coverage areas are up to 50 sqft ! is just bullshit.... They also will tell you if you call them we do sell HPS and MH so in the end really at least the company doesnt bullshit you like most of these companies on the internet but hey in the end you really get what you pay for just make sure the company isnt telling you false shit just to get you to buy there product. Also do some reasearch man and really see for yourself what LED's can do... good luck!

Bought im afraid to keep it. i like the spectrum of light, lots of blue and white hues and i would love to run it under a red spectrum. but you see what im saying right half the companies are relying on marketing and the other half arent. im just curious why blackstar was soo much cheaper. And not to sound condescending, cuz ive been drinking but the more research i do the harder it is to pick a light. Like i have two 3 watt leds from hid hut along with a 12 watt bloomer. no difference in color output then the magenta for kessil except it costs the same. i like penetrator. but man soo over priced. what would you get if you had 600 bones.

I hear you man to be honest if I had the money I would just personally go with some ISIS 1 panels or those spectras but thats alot of money but to be honest there proof in what they can do from IRISHBOY and ledbudguys grow journals. Nothing really beats just solid proof and pictures of what a product can do so to be honest If I had the cash I would go with those. Now in my own reality lol I could have just saved my money and bought a isis or 357 or maybe even a spectra if I had a little extra but I didn't and im stuck with the blackstars. Thats not a bad thing because the company seems legit they dont bullshit you really. The 240w models have all 3w chips in them so thats good now I dont know if there really 3w chips or just a bunch of 1w chips stacked together to make 3w that would be a good question to ask them. Dude trust me I would be terrified off my ass also if I had that much money to blow on LED and this many options. Like I said take your time man just look around ask the guys around here check out 420magazine.com they have some great LED journals on there and thcfarmer.com also.

I was going to get two Spectra 240w but I realize I wouldn't be doing them justice with a tiny 2.5ft x 2.5ft tent so I decided to get the 395w instead. I haven't ordered it though, waiting for my next check

4x4x6 to start out with, then 2 of these. I was going to go with secret jardin dark room 2 of their site its the newest and its mylar no toxic shit. i hope i choose the right company, plus it can hold 60lbs or 40kgs pretty sweet for a co2 tank and exaust and carbon.

i have the agenda to tell you to stfu................. none of us sell this has been stated as we all grow as well and i have a led blackstar grow up but its on autoflower.net since i get some love over there at least. I have people that are truely interested in my led setup and what all is going on. RIU is getting stupid and bitchy for my taste and at least on that forum the breeders are there to ask about the specific strain your growing because they developed it.
