preflower means i have to start flowering?

i have a shipwreck clone thats 15 inch tall and i jus started to flower.i hav it in a 5 gallon pot and under three 2foot t12 20watt 2700k flourescent tube lights.im using miracle grow potting soil, and for fertilizers foxfarm big bloom and tiger bloom.can anyone tell me about how much bud i will get if i flower for about 7 weeks????? i post some pics soon

If you have it on 12/12 then yes its flowering but if you have it under a veg schedule then its just letting you know its mature to flower

hard to tell total yield also not knowing a lot of key factors.

Those lights you have are def not the best for flowering also BTW. But if you see preflowers you knows its a good female and arent wasting your time vegging it up

I would def dd some more light. Atleast a few big CFLs. Just not enough light for that size plant for flowering. Plain and simple.

so more lights ok got it. like wut kind of cfls should i buy?? im startin the 12-12 cycle slowly rite now its on 14 1/2 hrs im goin by half hours..and if anyone can tell me when i should start using tigerbloom??o and can anyone tell me about how much will my plant yeild???

you need a lot of CFLS to get a good yield. they just dont have very good light penetration. i would recommend upgrading to a HPS.

also you can really flower a plant at almost anytime. you dont have to wait for preflowers. also not all strains develop preflowers. for example my feminized la confidential doesnt develop preflowers. however my female sweet tooth clone does.

yea im on a budget n not tryn to spend alot on more lights..have u ever flowered with cfls?u think it would be better to buy one hps or alot of cfls?

Can get a 240w flowering led for 250$ish
Don't waste money on cfl for flowing, they did good for your vegging though. Have tried to flowery and my buddy did too and came out so fluffy and not much weight

Never heard buying CFLS a waste..... seen 43 grams with 2x23 watt cfls from 1 plant..... CFLS are fine just keep them close and at all sides and you don't need a Ballast and its not as hard to keep cool just keep a breeze going across them

check out my sig i just harvested a blue mystic under a 150 watt hps and got 86.6 grams wet so about 30-36 grams dry with your lights you will not even get close the hps i got was only about $70 dont waste your time with the cfls put your plant back in veg and order the light then flower it you will not regret it
