Im almost done with a 150w hps grow, i just ordered another 150w cuz 2 would perfectly fit my small closet, its the type of closets that have the sliding glass doors, apartment kind, so theyr arent wide but long, anywayz.... would 2 150hps cause concerns for heat for flir? id only be cooling with a standing oscilating fan inside the grow area (which i would leave blowing only in 1 direction)

also i have my windows in my room covered by a thick black sheet and cut a square at the end of it so i can have a box fan running air in my room, i use to just use one anyway bfore growing, is that gonna cause any concern?

my grow is done during most of daytime and sleep at night, so am i good with this?
smell aint a prob just the flir is my concern

no flir prevention neccessary as long as you just exhaust that closet.

cool, should i keep that window open cuz someone told me that flir would see heat from the window, i dont vent my closet i basically leave the door a lil open on the side where the light is on and leave the other one closed so light doesnt leak out when night comes, and run the box fan in the window all day. is that burnt or na?

flir from a grow of that size is not a huge issue im sure. That much heat could be equal to an older plasma tv or space heater, you only have 300 watts so i wouldnt worry too much

Maybe open the window to balance the temperatures a little so not heat in just one spot if you are getting really paranoid but i wouldnt worry personally

thanks, yea i just got my other 150w today, was just curious cuz theres always choppers or small planes flying around where i live i get kinda worried sumtimes

like on Good Fellas? this choppers been following me all day! Na man you shouldnt have anything to worry about, in the summertime choppers practically land on my house every day, June through October, and I live in the sticks. and they ARE flying for outdoor pot grows, no problems so far for me, you should be good with 300 watts, my small space heater on high pulls 1500 watts constant, kind of makes me feel better about running my lights also.

you could probally rest your balls on a 150w,your telly probally gives out more heat

i leave my window open with that 600w. imagine the FLIR heat signature of a dryer vent.... theres a ton of hot air coming out of those. if theyre flyin over a neighborhood and see a lil bit of heat comin from a home, they dont think much of it. unless its a TON of heat from one small vent. thats not normal.

I have two 360w conversion hps in the same setup.. I think you'll be fine.

And if you are in the states, by the time they would use Flir on you they pretty much know what you are up to, smoke a bowl and chill...JR
