I have learned a lot from this site and this is my attempt to repay some thanks to you all. New additions to this grow is CO2 for the first 6 weeks of bloom, The advanced Nutrients master Growers lineup, and a few air cooled hoods. Issues with this grow were the high res temps associated with the higher temps needed for CO2 to work properly, Had some mild root rot that went away after the CO2 was stopped at week 6. This hearty strain drinks a lot and needed to buy a new dehumidifier to keep up with the humidity. +rep for you guys. Your kind words are greatly appreciated fellas. Trichomes are about 90% cloudy 10% amber as of today, looking to harvest at 50-65% amber for that couch lock buzz. Plants are supposedly 65% indica.

How long did you guys veg your AK48 for? And how long did you flower for? Also, how does it taste and smoke? I have read a few reviews that it taste bad, but I read that is when it is vegged for a short amount of time. Maybe it is some other factor. Sure would like to know. I have 6 AK-48's that are at week 6 right now. I did a short veg time. And they took a while to start really budding good. So I am thinking I will have to go to about 8-9 weeks in flower. But time will tell.

My ak is from clone so it was mature, however I veged for 2 weeks I grow em short for the sog. I'm almost half way thru week 8 myself and I think I could harvest today, but I'm looking for that couch lock buzz. A lot of the leaves are dying and I havent seen many amber trichs. I'm planning on flowering for 60+ days. Or however long it takes to get at least 50% trichs. I used bud candy on The last batch, and it smelled good, kinda like black liquorish. Just used carboload this time and it seems more fruity. Haven't tasted it yet, but the last stuff had a spicy haze taste. Also the cola buds are extremely dense like kush, but the lower ones are a little airy.

Thanks for the Smoke report BusterBawls. I can not wait to try some of this stuff. Some of the reviews said it tasted like Dog Shit. I read this after I already had the seeds, but figured it could be just how the took care of the plants or the buds. But a Lot of people said it got them to stoned also. hahaha.. these people i figured harvested it with to- much of a head high and got the sycho paranoia that you can get from a to heady of a strong bud. I also am going to harvest mine late in ripening. I have a Really a few really nice ICE plants that will be ready for harvest in a week. The buds on the AK-48 were Airy and small for longer then I am used to. I really thought i was going to get a crappy yield from them. But in the last 2 weeks, the buds have started to really explode on me. which has made me very happy. I started these AK's from seed. I think I should have veg'd them for a few more weeks, but oh well.

Nice dude! Might want to check ur ph though or go a little easier on the nutes. Has some prety bad burns in some places but botm line this is a kick ass grow! Its nice to c someone else usin an actual room for growing like I do. When most people say they have a grow room they meen a closet lolz. Is this ur first grow period or ur first grow with aero?

This was my first grow with co2. I did get a bit of nute burn but I think it was caused by the changes made thruout the grow. With the co2 I could run around 1700ppm but when i shut it down at week 6 and had the room vented, the res temps fell and caused a root growth spurt. The high res temps were causing a but of root rot, so when the temps came down the enzymes and bacteria I add started breaking the old roots down and caused a spike in my ppms. Definatly going to get an aquarium chiller if I plan to use co2 in the future. And now that I have notes from this run, I can calculate expected nute intake and compensate the changes when using co2.
My room is really no larger than a large closet, but it is a indeed not a closet. Some of the things people do to grow I find very funny. Just saw this pic on here where this guy had a 7ft plant in his closet flowering for 14weeks under a sideways table lamp. He might have had 1/8oz on it. I told him I was gonna take that picture and blow it up poser sized and write epic fail on it and put it up in my grow room. It's only 4x14 and I only fill 4x8 with plants. Last yield was like 1&1/2lbs. I had run this plant before with some orange crush, and this plants leaves yellow very early genetically anyways. I went with the ak48 with this grow because of the low leaf ratio which makes it easy to trim, the density of the buds, and the cure time is short. I keep the ph at 5.5-6.5. I have a reticulating res that my dehumidifier drains into, I also have a small boy and auto res filler thingy.

i agree with this post cuz mine where also clones on mature moms i veg for a month and usally chop at 8 weeks maybe a 3-4 days pass but mine smell like cherrys?? but the taste is real hashy herbal flavor kinda like spicy haze with a hint of fruity taste on the front. i used bonticare pro line with house and garden shooting powder the last 3 weeks

Don't harvest yet, bro. You obviously have a sinsimilla crop going there. Sinsimilla can take 14 to 16 weeks to fully mature. Observe the trichs on the little white hairs. As soon as the little white hairs show signs of deterioration its time to harvest. Otherwise you could change your name to Jose Lobo, sneak across the border into Mexico and get a job making airplane parts.
