How many seeds for one lb

I have a question, on average how many seeds does it take to make one LB, and how many seeds can you start one plant with. Thanks

Probably like 1512 seeds. Assuming each seed weighed about 0.06 ounces. Multiplied by the coeficient of pie squared, when solving for x.

As for how many seeds it takes to produce one plant? My answer would be 5.

haha b4 i read your post i was thinking along the same lines. i knew what he meant but i was going to post some wise answer like that lol. he didnt say how many seeds you need to make plants that will make a pound of bud. A+ and rep. God Bless everyone:peace:

C'mon.... you guys are cruel....tell the nb the truth. It only takes 2 seeds to make a pound. You take one male seed, one female seed... place one on top of the other .....then POUND! The resultant mash is put in soil to germinate.
Then of course the hard part starts.....when the cotyledons start to stomate you must magnify... if the tricomes look like the face of ZIG-ZAG you got a male which must be KILLED!....sorry....if they look like Barbara Walters....you got a female....maybe....

This is way too complicated to explain in a thread. Newbie, go to newbie central and read EVERYTHING ever posted there!

In case it's not clear, georgejung: these guys are all messing with you, and you deserve it.

People here will be nice and unbelievably helpful, but they expect you to put in some effort as well, which you clearly haven't. Go read some things about growing, and see if your questions get answered. Get at least a basic education before you come on here and expect people to answer your questions, okay?

I came here to ask a question and i get a bunch of people with obviously no lives who just get a kick out of ignorant replies. If you can't answer the question then go ahead about your business, you guys could've easily corrected my question and answered it ..simple.. As far as those who try to humiliate someone over a mistake then kiss my ass no homo. Don't get a band wagon by riding others and trying to fit in so that you can get additional credibility of teasing someone when your suppose to get credibility for helping lol. Also if you have nothing good to say regarding my question take you reply and shove it up ya lose asshole. I'm sorry if you aren't intelligent enough to know what a newbie means and the difference between newbie & expert.You have to learn to know, its not like its common sense on growing bud if so this forum wouldn't attract much audience which is here for help. Anyway i appreciate one 1 person out of 82 others who actually gave me a helpful reply. As far as one plant how many grams of bud does it usually give you?

Can't we have a little fun? Someone had a bad day... Chill out. You need one seed, for one plant. I'd say YOU would probably need at least 50 females for an LB.

Yeah, sorry if i came off a little high tempered, it was more so a few of those who it was really directed to and you weren't one of them, as far as it takes "one seed" for one plant i really do appreciate your answer. This is bit a interesting forum, which i will myself even began to grow some day but this is more for a family member of mines. He wants to start growing and is pretty clueless also not a Internet savvy person so I am researching and trying to help him the best way i can.. Thanks a lot for the understanding!
