Argument of germs!

It all started a couple days ago when i started to get sick. I also had a bad dream that i effed up my plants, ended up making them brittle and they all broke in half. that is beside the point though.

Asked my wife if she thinks it possible to infect your plants with germs. I think it is possible and therefore will wear a mask when in the room. She thinks the opposite. What do you think?

Side note, that was the scariest dream I've had in awhile, woke up in tears :( lol

I've been half-way to hell and back sick this week! Even so, I made at least a daily trip to check on my ladies.

It must be common amoung growers to have "nightmares" about their plants. I've experienced similar from time to time, more so during this past week of illness:lol:. I like to blow and breath on my plants but I have not this week, and now that you mentioned it, I won't. :leaf::leaf::leaf:

I cant imagine any virus that effects humans having any effect on any plant....
Virus maybe not, I'm not really asking if they can catch the cold or flu. More or less can germs that effect us also effect them, like not washing yer hands or coughing around them. It's silly i know, but it was kind of a funny argument that i wanted to share.

Human "germs" cannot hurt plants.

Good not to pass what you have on to others that handle your pot though.

in my opinion viruses/bacterias have evolved to target things such as mammals / reptiles / birds / plants / etc. most are contained to that group such as the cold/flu among mammals, I doubt a reptile, bird or plant can catch a cold? then theres such things as Tobacco Mossaic Virus, that is only found in plants, it doesnt effect humans.

thats just my opinion. reptiles have their own diseases, mammals their own, plants their own, because viruses have evolved to target certain hosts. so one that evolved to have a plant host, cant infest a mammal even if ingested, and a virus that evolved to have a mammal host, cant infest a plant
