Went to a local hydro store today to buy a few little things and they had some decent looking ceramic air stones on sale for $3 each. Bought a few and they put out an impressive amount of bubbles compared to the air stones I was using and should last awhile... good buy.

It's looking like I might be able to keep Aphrodite in the tent - she grew a little since yesterday and has a couple of roots in the reservoir.

Looking good, I am sure once those roots get into the res they will take off. Your project looks very interesting and I am hoping to learn something about it. My MDs are really going nice, I got 2 in Flowering and 1 in Veg. Pics please! LOL

The lights literally just went off in the tent but I'll get up a couple of pics up this evening. By the way, get your own journal updated with some pics! Hope the NF survived your absence.

I am taking pics now...I am back and will be around daily! LOL.

After looking back in my journal the Minerva MD is the Pat pheno for sure at least right now it is. Looks good, why cant the other MD get her roots down in the res yet? I am sure she will eventually take off too. The Snow White is looking nice too. Your set up is so professional and clean. Damn I am glad you got the MD seedlings going.

Peace Bro and you know I am going to be expecting lots of updates and pics on those 3 ladies you have now. We are really going to start getting these grows in line. How long do you plant to veg all three?

Whats up man! great looking setup you have here! I'll be pulling up a seat for this one for sure! I'm currently in the process of building a flowering cab pretty much to the same dimensions as your tent.. Only thing different that I wanted to do was run 4 5 gallon buckets.. Would your tent be able to hold 4 of them in there, or is 3 pretty much the limit? I've never grown in DWC, but have been wanting to try it out for some time now! I only have 2 soil grows under my belt so that's been a little bit of a scare. If you get a minute check out my journal link is in my sig!

Well I had a few 1" rockwool cubes lying around and decided to use them for germination this time... I soaked them 24 hours in water pH'ed to 5.5 but I noticed that reservoir pH kept rising in MD2's bucket after transplanting to the tent. So I'm pretty sure it's a pH issue with the rockwool cube being too basic... but that's just my best guess. She did manage to get 2 long roots into the bucket and they are actively growing - so I'm thinking she'll probably be fine with enough time. I don't know - more often than not it seems I have issues with rockwool so this will be the last time I'm going to use it.

I'm not going to veg them for super long. I'm actually kind of waiting on Aphrodite (MD2) to do something before deciding because if she doesn't take off I'm going to add in a fourth bucket with a little Athena clone in it and flower sooner rather than later.

By the way, I went and looked back at your journal for pictures of Pat but didn't find any of when Pat was little. We'll have to compare pics on YM.

Thanks and welcome man. I physically tested how many buckets you could fit just the other day actually: In 2'x4' you can fit five 5-gallon buckets (staggered like bullets in a magazine - if that makes sense). Was just thinking though, 3-gallon buckets are the same diameter as 5-gallons... and if I were going to put 5 buckets in that small of a space, I might think about going with smaller reservoirs since you'd be more limited on how long you can veg for. Also, just checked out your journal and it looks like you are a bit more limited on vertical height? Five 3-gallon buckets + a screen (SCroG style) might efficiently rock out some buds in a low clearance 2'x4' cabinet. Just brainstorming. lol

Very symeterical and perfect looking sharp edge leaves. They will get huge, watch. I only Veg Pat for approx 17 days total from germination. You should at least veg for 40 days like I did for the OG MD....LOL They will produce nice buds for you. Especially a Pat Pheno which is a large cola...LOL She is the largest bud in my avatar. Cant wait to see.

Awesome man - I'll have to see a picture of how big OG MD was when you started 12/12 with a pic of final size. I'm not sure what the growth rate differences will be between our two systems but 40 days of veg + two months of flower might be too much for the tent with 3-4 plants.

Do you think I should top MD1 and the Snow White - maybe give MD2 a bit more time to do something?

Bro do what you do best with the MDs, top, lst, sup crop, anything. Go for it, I top'd one of mine. Yeah my 1st MD was a big plant. I am sure you will plan accordingly with your tent and buckets.

Man... I think I'll top Snow White tomorrow - she's tallest. Still undecided about MD1.

Any case, MD2 had a little growth spurt during lights out today and had a lot of root development as well (starting to produce feeding roots). I'm still optimistic she'll grow out of her troubles soon.

Rapid Rooters!!!! Hands down the best I have used yet. No paper towel or soaking of a seed just pop it into the Rapid Rooter that has been soak in water and keep heated and it will pop in 2-3 days. I always used rockwool to germ and start a seed but never again since Billcollector gave me these Rapid Rooters. They are also good for cloning to. Give them a try and see bro. I think you need a new seed anyway...maybe a early xmas gift of a Northern Flame. I think you should rock one. Even if you get a male that would be better. Check it out Secret Valleys Northern Flame. Check it at Attitude. I leave with some of my MD plants that are over a month old.....

MD#1 (Flowering Day# 23 Female Sex) She is getting Root Bound, her roots are out the container already I am xplanting her tonight to larger container. Hopefully she will explode!!!!

I almost bought some of those my last visit to the store but the smallest container had 50 plugs in it and I don't need nearly that many. Going to check if I can get a smaller count on ebay. I was checking out Secret Valley Seeds the other day on Attitude and they were out of stock w/ most of their seeds. But yeah, that Northern Flame looks excellent! Really can't wait to see it in late flower...
