What?! You have to add more lumen's in order to make temps optimal? Well that's a fucked up problem and solution I'd like to have.  Sounds like it's pretty cold there...might as well go get the 1K watt HPS. ;)

yea its because i am in the garage in the middle of winter.
600 hps in flower in a 3x3x6
2'x8 t-5s in veg 2x2x4

my veg room has been cold. my flower room is great, 70F all day and 50s at night. the fan barely kicks on which means more co2.

turned up the heater in the veg and the clones are starting to grow. man, growing in a garage in winter is more difficult that it seems.

flower room is on week 4 and buds are forming nicely. coco is a lot less work than DWC i am a happy grower. think i found my new medium. no more lugging water, less chance for bugs, no more PH problems or cold/hot water problems.

update: flowering is looking much better, 3.5 weeks in and buds are forming nicely. got some bottom leaves yellowing.

the veg on the the other hand looking like time stopped. think its too cold ..temps just dropped again, so i upped the heater thermostat, should help dry the coco out a little. even put it on 18/6 :) might get my hands on a 400 mh which will keep things warmer in there.

Hey what strain is that little sativa looking one in the middle?

Didnt read all the posts....You should have a snorkel air intake on the back of the pump. I have a 35w too and 90% of the noise comes from that snorkle air intake. Get some flexible plastic hose at the hardware store and run it out a window or?? You wont here much inside at all.

it is white majic. but there is a slight chance it is chernobyl. but it looks like the other white majic (the two in the front), wont know for sure for another few weeks.

the back two are agent orange.

well i have never done coco, and am loving it.
i think i need to flush....still showing signs of N difficency (lower leaves yellowing) and leaf tips are burning. no sign of bugs. it baffles me when i see deficency and over fert at the same time. i cut back on the PPMs but havent been watering enough to have some run off. think i will flush tonight and see what happens. they are pretty dry, so its prob a good time to flush....might have salt build up.

60 days now. but i think i still have a 1-1.5 weeks left. switching from DWC to coco set them back a week.
had to stake up the Agent Orange too. its starting to pack on some weight. finally!!!
2nd flush ppms of runoff are about 100
pics 1 ,4 are the AO, pic 3,5 are the White Majic

i think my problem was too little water in the buckets, so i brought the water level up to the bottom of the baskets....too much air around the roots.
Just wanted to mention you can't get too much air on the roots if they are small bubbles. Only prob with big bubbles is breaking your roots. More oxygen on the roots is better.
