There is no such thing as being ripped off unless the bud did not do what the seller claimed it would do. You got high, your buddy agreed on the sale, all is good. COULD you have gotten a better deal if you knew the right people or happened to be in the right place at the right time? Sure , but it doesn't mean you were ripped off on this deal. The house I bought here cost 100 times more than the house I could have bought in Somalia, but i sure as hell don't feel like I got jipped.

Considering $110 is the high end for a quarter, this guy basically got the buy 4 grams get one half off deal. Which is some top shelf bullshit. Find yourself a new hookup bro.
Your comparison really doesn't make sense, that's like comparing the price of weed in the US to the price in Mexico, not comparing the price of weed in Colorado with the price of other weed in Colorado.

some people dont understand this drama....people are so fuckign stupid its not even funny, where im from (east coast) ppl get 120 for qtrs all day, i easily sell qtrs for that sometimes only 110 not much less, were not all on west coast or in california, people need to know what they are talkign about before they start saying people got ripped off and qtrs are 60 bucks, not on the east coast they arent bro, we all dont have weed shops to go to...god damn sry for being so ignorant im sick of people being stupid about this type of shit though, ex your not making any sense your trying to compare prices in YOUR town, thats not how it is everywhere, i understand 90 bucks for 5 gs isnt a GREAT deal, but he didnt by any means get ripped off....

If you pay 90 for 5.1 you're just retarded. I used to live in Chicago and I've lived in NY for awhile and $20/g $60-65/eighth $110-120/quarter $220-240/half $400-450/oz are standard. These are by far the most expensive prices in the country. If you're paying more than this, you're getting fucking ripped off. There's no other way of putting it, you're just plain getting scammed. You sound like one of the asshole dealers who charges $25 a gram for shit he pays $375/oz for and slaps on a random name that the bud you have kinda looks similar to. essentially the guy got either a plugged 8th for 90 or a skimp qtr for 90...either way its not a good deal.
if i meet a dealer and he has, "super duper kush haze hydro purple og" etc for like say $300/z and some shit he calls "mids" for $200/z im gettin the mids unless its from someone i know who knows their weed/strains. why? because half they time these dealers just charge more for the sacks they have that have the most eye appeal even if overall the crappy looking "mids" are of better overall quality.
you should see the idiots around here who will pay $350/z for a purple colored strain that has been subjected to excessive low temps and the bud turns so purple its almost black...these idiots line up for that shit and pay top dollar.

350/z isn't even that high for cali. I've seen dispensaries charging 90/8th and people lining up for that shit. If you slap a fancy name on anything, there's someone out there who's ignorant enough about marijuana to buy it.
When I lived in NY I had a buddy (when we were in college struggling to pay for an apt.) who would buy ounces of schwagg for $60-75 a zip and drop some purple food coloring on a few leaves here and there, drop the ganj in a jar with a sponge that he soaked in lemon and orange juice and give it a few days to soak up the smell and flavor and kids would pay $15/g for that shit and KEPT COMING BACK cus they couldn't find purps anywhere else.
Laughed all the way to the landlord with that money good times.

Yeah I'd say you got overcharged. I wouldn't pay a dime over $100 for 7g and it had better be some top notch stuff. Really though $150 for a 1/2 is more reasonable. It's best to buy in halfs and oz's anyway. Less hassle for everyone, better breaks for everyone. =)
