Could you do a real strong sativa dominant under CFLs? If were puttin out like 800 watts of mixed spectrum? One that has like a 12-16 week flowering time.

LST is low stress training. Basically tie the plant into the shape you want. You can bend a plant over 90 degrees and then literally have the plant grow into whatever shape you want. I generally go for a coil shape. This causes the sativa to bush out and all of the side branches will begin to grow upward. In the end you will have a very even canopy of bud sites which makes placing and maintaining CFLs as close as possible to all the pertinent parts of the plant much easier. This also takes care of the length sativas can reach.
scrog = screen of green. This is when you place a screen over the plants and have then grow through it. It essentially achieves the same goals as LST.
See how I tied it down (it should be attached to pot). Can then rotate it around the pot and all side branches will form the canopy.
I realize this is not a true sativa pictured but it works the same.
