Barneys - Tangerine Dream! (In Amsterdam RIGHT NOW!)

Okay guys, I have some "Tangerine Dream" i picked up from Barneys on Haarlemmerstraat! As soon as i landed, Went straight to my hotel and dropped my shit off and ran out and picked up some! I do not have a nice camera, Just my rental cellphone which takes shitty pictures. So i jacked the pics to stress emphasis on the trichromes, But i do have a smoke report! There seems to be alot of hype on this bud so im glad that i was able to smoke it this early.

First Impressions.. After receiving the very cool bag (Tangerine Dream Dude on it) i broke out some joint papers i brought and started to break up the buds, First nug broke a tangerine, more tangish aroma leaked all around me. The buds are very dense and take quite a pinch to break off a nug. The inhale is a very Citrus, Tang flavor & The exhale is mint with a hint of orange pine, Smooth like aswell.


Strain: Sativa Dominant

Bag Appeal: Dark green, With a slight orange hue bud compared to other strains. Light Orange & Dark Red Hairs.

Aroma: Tangerine, Tang, Orange, Slightly Floral

Palate: Fruity Tang, Citrus Inhale & Smooth Mint, Orange Pine Exhale

High: Very energetic high, almost Getty like. But then again I'm in Amsterdam so that might be the feeling! Just a great smoke if your gonna go out dancing or drinking which is what im about to go do...

Bag Appeal 8/10
Aroma 9/10

I got some Blue Cheese & Dr Grinspoon. So far These & Tangerine Dream are my favorite! I'm glad i like Tangerine Dream so much cause i already ordered seeds :P I have smoked BC & DR G before, last year. Ive got one map with all the Coffee Shops on them i wrote last year! Atleast 30 Coffee shops! I heard Bulldog and some others are closing, So i came early. I'm also coming back March 22nd-27th for "Beruchtst Amsterdam" and November for the Cannabis Cup w/ some hotties from Cali! I got a spot hosting crawls around the city with "Beruchtst Amsterdam" Tomorrow im going to De Dampkring, Mellow Yello & Rasta Baby! Just to burn all the trees i can till next week! So far ive spent almost 250 Euros in 2 days on Cannabis alone! Its 6:53 PM About to go to the Bulldog and smoke some Bulldog Haze & head to Escape Amsterdam. A very hot ass nightclub has like 5 rooms in the shit! One like hookahs and shit is mad chill! Cheers guys, Thanks for the Rep friends!!!

Very energetic and euphoric, The taste is literally very hard to describe. The nugs are little airy, However the smoke is amazing... Never seen anything like it in California. Shape, Nug Formation, Aroma & Palate alone this stands apart in the Sativas... Ive also never smoked a Heirloom Strain besides this. The Sativas i smoke are like Blue Dream Haze, Super Silver Haze ETC.. The guys at barneys said they don't pull much weight, about 50-100grams... Especially for a 100day Flower. I have recently read there is no Smoke Cap on Sativa (endless) and there is a Low cap on Indicas (7-8 Hits before Sleep).

I had Tangerine Dream during the Cannabis Cup last November. Got it at Barney´s, same as you. It was good weed, though not mind blowing, imo. Did NOT smell anything like tangerines to me...or any other fruit...but maybe I just fail like that...The main thing I remember about this weed is the texture. Never felt anything like it! Dense, but soft at the same time...its almost like you are tearing apart a very soft piece of hash. the smoke was smooth, and it got me pretty high....so good weed overall, but a little over rated, imo.

I also had LSD from Barneys. The smell was unique and fantastic...the high was strong too...

I have gotten strains from barneys before and always thought they were nice.Well picked some Tangerine dream from one of Barneys biggest vendors and I will say that it is way over hyped,I had two different moms and both were very similar.I tryed the first after it flowered for 75 days,and I was not satisfied with it at all.Its a dense budded sativa that grows at an average pace and has nice speared shaped colas.The taste at best is a 5,and stone is a six at most.If this is what won a cup then the cup is a farce period.BEWARE
