That so called "guru" is a dick! He got owned quick lol!! anway, it's important to know what srtrain it is, some strains continuously produce white pistils even while being ripe, so keep an eye on those Trichs! But i would say 3-4 weeks to go

I've heard that before, but I will see! There aren't many trichomes yet so I figured 3-4 weeks.

Really? At 10 weeks there should be tons of trichomes, the trichs are the sugary crystals you see, you do know that right?

Yes I know that! They seem pretty small and not too many for how big it is. May be a not so potent strain.

That doesnt mean it will not be potent.... some produce less trichomes and are still ver potent...im sure your's will be very good

that`s a bit harsh, aren`t you/i hear to give each other advice? you can`t actually no and learn everything just by reading and looking at pictures, there`s no substitute for hands on practical learning, u don`t have to answer anyone`s question`s do u? as they say if you son`t like wat ur watchin` then turn ova!!!!

I can see the trichomes turn on most my plants with no loop. I have CRAZY good eyesight....

But this one has TINY trichomes, I'd say 1/4 - 1/8 the size of a normal one. I have tried to get some pics of them but I don't have a macro camera.

you could also snip off a small nugget every other day, 2-3 hours in the oven on low or on top of some lowheatsource over night.
a scope can only tell you so much, each strain is unique. first time running any strain, i testsmoke it the last weeks.

and if you cut off the bud, so there is some budstructure left, that bud will heal itself and keep on growing. so not a big loss.

Great advice! I cut a couple of the smallest off this morning.

Be careful using an oven to speed dry, anything over 150 F will begin to extract THC (I think). I tried this once and it turns out I can't even have my oven on because it won't go that low. Cheers.
