Shit too late. lol i just ordered a 1000 watt hps cool tube with a timer/digital ballast/ cool tube/ yoyo reflector hangars and bulb for $269 not a bad deal huh?

That's a real good deal bro! It all depends on who made the ballast but even if it's some China man made one that is still a good deal. I was reading about the digital balasts though and they do burn up bulbs quicker than a magnetic ballast but you will be more than fine brotha! Congrats on the new light! I am stoked for ya brotha! As soon as you get the money go get or order a Hortilux bulb for your setup! And keep that China man bulb as a backup bulb! That is what I did with my 600w that I bought from ebay, used it for one grow then bought a good bulb once I harvested my crop.

Yeah bro If I were you I would go with the digilux bulb to maximize your digital balast. I am on old school magnetic balasts! I would love to see a test side by side with your china man bulb and a digi bulb!

I don't know any cheaper place but seriously you saw the pic's bro! If you use a good light for flower you will get way more so one harvest and you will get more than you money back just in weed! Also your weed will probably be better quality too! So if you can scrape the money together I think it would be worth it! Or do one harvest and move some of the weed and buy one?

i swear right when i thought i was almost done investing into this grow, i seem to dump more and more money into it. lol but i am shooting for both quantity and quality so that requires some serious investing. by the time it is all said and done ill have invested around a grand or more . grows quickly turn into money pits if u let em.

Bro I have more than 4 times as much invested in my grow rooms! LOL Always remember you have to spend money to make money! I have a friend that is doing a budget grow and he has been growing for over 6 years now and he just refuses to spend money on his rooms/plants and his fucking plants look like the Charlie Brown Christmas trees! LOL He comes over and takes a look at my plants and he still wont listen to any advice I offer him! No worries though there are just people out there like that, people that want to try and grow with shit soil and no nutes under a street lamp that they found!

Once you get all your shit brotha your only expense will be soil, nutes, beans! Other little shit but once you invest and get all your shit you will be fine. The ocasional light here or there but that is about it.

true true. and i feel with something like growing you cant really cut corners cause there is to much to risk such as yield quality etc. and if ur not at least going for quality, why grow at all ? kinda defeats the purpose

Got 1000 watt light today and the thing is beast. Its the sun its self, i had my 400w halide running and a 1100 watt portable ac and i fired up my 1000 in my living room fresh out of the box and everything was fine for about five min then the circuit broke. I realize that it was an overload of watts/amp for my whole dwelling but my question is this. The 1000 and my 1100 watt ac can both run with out problems but if i run my washer or dryer or oven is that all going to cause another overload? meaning the 1000 the ac and 1 other major or possibly two other major appliances? is that going to serve me problems? and to add i am getting a 150 watt inline fan so yea hopefully all goes well thatnks for any suggestions

If it overloaded with your ac 1100 watts,400 watt halide and 1000 watt light anything with that amount of wattage will overload it..So to be safe stay under 2000 watts or use a different outlet.

Yeah like WBW said, what you will need to do is run your 1000w off of a different outlet that is controlled by a different breaker. Your Garage can take more before breaking but inside the house the circut breaker will trip with a lower load. You should be fine just run an extension cord! Looks a lil trailer but gets the job done.

Got my grow tent today to flower these bushes in. 4x4x6, also picking up carbon filter and inline fan to exhasut and deosorize. should be harvesting sometime early may, started 12/12 yesterday. cant wait. Still cannot post picks, laptop is still down... sorry but atleast when i finally do post pics they will be hairy bud porn pics!!!

If I were you keep track of the height of your plants when you switch them to flower and record how much stretch you get from them. That way next time you will know how that strain reacts when switched to flower.
