How to know when your plant is dead or stressed?

He's in Puerto Rico...

A little over 18 degrees north of the equator. Winter has a different meaning for people that close to the "middle"

The days are getting longer, and by mid April it should be beast despite the early setback. I'm not sure exactly how an auto will respond to the lack of growing period... probably just need longer to finish.

Crayc, you should try an equatorial sativa next time around. They are better suited for the outdoor climate there and would benefit from an early state date given your location.
Thanks for your input. From what i read this short rider strain is not a true autoflower. It autoflowered for the most part. I believe they did fix the strain. regardless i still have 4 seeds left. What kind of cfl light bulb should get maybe i leave it in the sun and then bring it inside

the leaves are now relaxed. they are no long folding. But yeah maybe i did overwater. see on saturday when i transplanted. i watered it, saw on youtube you had to get it wet so the soils could blend or something. sunday it rained, over here it is hard to tell when it is going to rain. You could have a big overcast and it won't rain, you can have sun and then it would just rain. We get a lot of sunshowers. That soil is very moist. won't water it for next 2 days.

Good luck finding a 150w CFL...
I think 27w 5500K Daylight bulbs are GREAT!
23w and 25w 6500K and 6000K Daylight bulbs are just fine as well.

Try to keep your equivalent wattage over 100w and you'll be fine. Place the bulb about an inch or two above the seedling. You'll need a lamp.

thanks you are very helpful. So 1 or 2 would be good enough? I don't think i can find mylar out here, so i guess my closet will have to do or i get a cardboard box and stick it in there.

Reflection with CFL bulbs is not all that necessary. At least when it comes to wall reflection. At more than 1 foot from the bulb you're working with very little of the energy, so reflecting that back yet another foot... Won't make much difference.

Exactly what snowcrash mentioned about equatorial srains, was what i was going to say... these srtains can thrive in your climate, and they'll grow into big trees if left untrained... there are many original landrace strains that you can work with, they are a good choice due to their stability and obviously potency... As far as those seedlings are concerned, i could be a bad seed, bu I would leave it undisturbed for a few days; it's not a good idea to let seedlings get completely dry like you would in a maturer stage, but you dont want to overwater like it has been....like someone mentioned, that could be the dud of the pack... good luck bori!!
