I grow year round in a small green house in my yard.
Spring harvest will be Six Silver Jack, Five G-13 and a Master Kush.

Here's a pic:

Still not sure about this summers grow, I'm leaning towards Casey Jones or some Kush.

Checking in from Cali...Going for 6-9 strains, unsure of many, but if possible, Nirvana's "Aurora Indica" is on the list, as well as "Kushage"(unsure of breeder here). Not gonna be a guerilla grow, planting some in ground, some in 18 and 32 gallon plastic pots, and some in 30 and 45 gallon smart pots. Going to going to experiment with topping, supercropping, and LST, and will be feeding half the plants MG All Purpose and Bloom, and the other half something tasty and organic, like the Foxfarm Trio or something comparable. Also, this will be the first year I'm experimenting with drip irrigation on timers for some of the plants.

Sac valley here..

I plan on doing 8-12 plants (4 are already in the ground) this summer. More than likely doing a combination of in the ground and smart pots depending on how well the ones out there are doing now in the crap soil..

I will be using Supersoil, Fish Emulsion, Tiger Bloom, and Molasses..

Strains are as follows (So far) all will be from clones.

Green Crack - Vegging since early January
Redwood Kush - Flowering indoor right now and will probably go outside to finish/hopefully reveg.
Purple Dragon - Vegging since 2/11
GDP - still need to pick up

Still looking for the following strains for the summer....

Anything crossed with Cheese or just Cheese
Blue Dream
One of the OG strains

I am still on the look out for a few other strains but haven't narrowed them down yet.

I read a soil test a couple of weeks ago, unfortunately I can't remember where. Supersoil outperformed all the others (warehouse potting soils) at growing MJ. Just be sure to test the ph of the run-thru water, and adjust your source water accordingly. I would also add about 10% perlite to it, it's pretty finely ground. You could definitely do better, though, making your own mix. Search here for great mixes.

I used Supersoil exclusively last year on some plants that I put out REALLY late in the season (July 31st - Oct 15th) and was able to pull 7 zips off 5 clones. Not sure if it was the soil that contributed to my success but I am sticking with what's working for me. :)

Here is a thread that I found doing a quick search...

You my dawg, ABM, but unfortunately i think the link you posted and the supersoil Gop is talking about are completely diff...lol...You guys are talking about the brand name "Supersoil" in a bag you buy at a nursery or hardware store, but that thread is talking about Subcool's organic blend for Super soil. Subcool is amazing, one of my heros, but his soil blend is chock full o' nutes! I believe the recipe should be under the "Organics" section of RIU, Subcool even has his own sub-section! But I've seen Supersoil in bags at home depot and OSH, and almost bought it a couple times. I've never heard anything really bad about it. I just think I'm gonna be buying soil in bulk this year. 30 bucks a cubic yard is WAY more affordable than buying 25+ bags of soil...lol...damn 45 gallon smartpots!

Come on sun!! My 4 plants outside took a beating as expected over the last few days. One of them has a fairly soft stalk still and the wind beat the shit out of it but it's hanging in there. :)

I hear ya, Looks like we got a couple more weeks of this shit. If they survive they will have strong stalks.
I thought I would show you what I use to make my super soil mix.

Mixed it in garbage cans,

Then it goes in smart pots.

Hey ABM, Glad to hear you weathered that lil storm. It's still rainy down here. And Cruzer, how much did all that shit for the super soil cost, what size smart pots is it going in and how many cubic feet of mix do you think thats all gonna make? I'm running 30 and 45 gallon smart pots, as well as some of plastic pots as well that are 18 and 32 gallons. I'm thinking I will need to order soil in bulk and have that shit delivered or pick up a yard or 2 in a friends truck...but I'm intrigued and curious about how many pots i can fill with that lil stack you got goin on there.

That stack filled eight 10 gallon smart pots and that large regular pot, I think it is a 16 gallon so like 96 gallons worth.
I don't know what the cubic foot is. 30 and 45 gallon smart pot are pretty big man, I grew 10 to 13 footers in the 10 gallons.

Oh cost, It was around $175 I think, I got the FFOC for like $11 a bag and the black gold for $13 I think it was.

Yeah, bulk soil custom screened to my size preferance, about 30 bucks a cubic yard...only thing is I gotta have it delivered and spend a day ferrying it back and forth to my grow from my driveway in a wheelbarrow...lol. Still planning on mixing in organics, but hopefully it'll work out pretty cost effectively. The smart pots are 30 and 45 gallon cause I know someone who grew in 60 gallon smartpots and not only got tall plants, but bushy as fuck as well. I'd prefer to plant all my plants in ground, but I only have room for about 6, hence the pots.

I will reserch smart pots but I assume you grow in those indoors/outdoors untill it warms up. Then you leave them outside?
Being new to the MMC I am having trouble picking a bloomroom. I have a sliding glass door and a nice room. I thought I could use the sun and a HDI during the day and put them away at12/12 time. I am a homeboy so I dont go out. I can devote plenty of time and I grow veggies as well

Any thoughts?
