your girls are looking real good girl! keep up the good work.Well, what a difference a week makes! I've been through hell with one of my girls but the others seem to be doing alright. My tub seemed to get too crowded with the Dutch Passion Orange and LR2 towering over the rest of the ladies, so I decided to spread them out a wee bit and put the LR2 and DPO in two individual bubblers. The DPO took the move alright for the most part, a few leaves on the bottom yellowed and some stretching occurred, but she's doing great at the present time. Looks to me like she might get really tall so I'm glad she's on her own away from the short autos that I have.
The LR2 is my most temperamental plant. She started getting dark purplish within some of the leaves as well as on some edges. You'll see what I mean on the pics. She drooped for about 32 hours and I pretty much figured I'd lost her. After researching a bit, I realized that my Ph was waaaay off after the transplants, and the yellowing of the DPO was due to simply needing some more nutes. I'd planned to nute only every two weeks but it seems it's time to do a weekly feeding. I just make sure to do half the recommended dosage at this point and the girls are taking it well.
Once I fixed Ph and nutes, LR2, as well as the other ladies, have been happy as hell but the LR2 has those ugly-assed brown stains on the edges of some of her leaves. As long as she is still producing new leaves and seeming to respond well to light, heat, nutes, etc ... I can deal with the "ugliness" for now LOL! I dont' think I'll re-do this strain again though. Again, she has been temperamental a few times since germination and we are only 4 weeks in. I have to baby her tremendously it seems. Hope she makes it all worth my while come harvest time!

Nice job! Go girl! I'm not sure why there are not more femme growers. Gardening seems like a very unisex hobby to me! At first my girl thought I was nuts too...."Do you love the plants more than me"?....."Sitting and staring at them isn't gonna make em grow faster", etc etc etc. After having lots of mason jars jam-packed with various strains at all times, her tune has changed..... "Keep up the awesome work", "What's an NPK? and can I help?".....AND I catch HER staring at them from time to time now too. Can't wait to see your finished product!!

Yah Man, I know right? I just received my bucket of ONA today, also have an air purifier right outside the door, not to mention that I am a professional candlemaker so I am constantly making/burning candles throughout my house. Of course the candles don't completely do the job but I noticed that once I poured some of the ONA gel into a separate container, added some water to it and blew a fan across it, I have been able to smell it from the end of the house where the ladies are, all the way to the opposite end of the house. I have not smelled ANY skunkiness since I set the bucket in motion this afternoon. We'll see how long this lasts. I've heard carbon filter control is the best but ... DAMN! That's expensive! I'll have to play by ear and see if the odor becomes unmanageable. If so, I'll just have to kick out for the heavy duty carbon system.

LMAO!!! Bushy you have me crackin' up!!! I think that will be the outcome with my old man too though. He's a bit paranoid right now but he peeks in from time to time. Once I get to the "mason jar" stage though ... yeah ... a brotha will be sitting, staring, and trying to help out! LOL!

Go Girl Friend! Looking good! And yes...Im a woman too, 40 yrs young! Ive been growing all my life, but just in the last 6 years indoor. I was fortunate enough to learn from pro's. And Yes it has surpised some people, Because mostly men grow. If u dont have a dehumifier should invest in one...It will save u alot of trouble in the long run. I couldn't grow without them. It great to see others females growing, and at times it can be frustrating...but hang in there and get as must infro. as possible. I even got my boyfriend into it & he's addicted to growing & He's the one who turned me on to this site! Peace & happy growing! +reps for Girl Power! Keep us posted !

Hey, girl. I'm growing a Kandy Kush and 3 Chocolate Rain. The Bud shot is from Lady Godiva, one of my Chocolate Rains! I am psyched to smoke my own. I have pics posted around the site, but I can't upload or drag pics on my I-pad. So, I will post some pics after I put my kids to bed. Can't get near the computer when they're awake! And my 2 oldest girls have laptops, from my Mom, not from us!
EDIT: oh, I vegged them til they were about 15 inches or so. Lady Godiva is my saliva pheno and she is about 3 1/2 feet. The othersvarevaround 3 feet. Next time I will be using a 400 Watt HPS, so even though this time I could have let them veg longer, next time I'll probably do the same.

Haha, I read about needing a dehumidifier and I bought one. However, I didn't factor in that my grow closet is all cedar, which absorbs moisture. I have a humidifier running 24/7 and still my RH won't go higher than 38%!

Hey Sebastopolian, thanks for stopping in to encourage a sistah!
I'm 40+ years young too so I'm with ya on that. LOVE this hobby girl. These plants are sexy as hell. You learned from pros but since you have been growing for so long honey, you ARE a pro! Glad you're here to share the wisdom/knowledge/skill. I haven't tried the dehumidifier but will probably need one before too long once the outside temps get higher. It gets REALLY humid here where I live. So far my humidity level is staying around 35 - 41%. But again, it's about to get much warmer in these parts so I thank you for the tip. I wish my old man would get into growing like I have. I think he will after he sees the results of my first grow. If not, at least I've got my RIU family.

That Lady Godiva is lookin' sexy as hell! I know you can't WAIT to taste her!! Damn!! LOL! It would have taken every bit of my restraint not to just pluck that bud right off the top of there just for a little taste test. I'm keeping my veg time relatively short because a majority of my girls are autoflowers and my Dutch Orange Passion and Low Ryder 2 ladies are already showing me their pretty little pistils.
Due to space constraint I got strains that would stay relatively low and bud fast so that I could complete my grow before the kids get out of school for the Summer. Do want them all up in my bizness ya know! Yeah, I know you know what I'm talkin' about. You're 4 kids deep just like me! Holla!
