nice! seems like you did your homework.my last couple of grows where not organic.Im excited about going organic,Im just waiting on my rez d39 seeds to get here.m39is the mom and sour diesal is the father.I love this shit.

all too often people claim organic, alot of foxfarm users do this, the soil is organic, the big bloom is all natural, but grow big, tiger bloom are chemical based. i dont like most organic lines from the guano's and fish emulsion
they stink and promote flies and other critters. however the results can be great.

yea! but hydrponicaly I cant really use those.I just want a stand alone nutient,thats why I went pureblend.I was using airoponics,but now Im going waterfarm.I never tried soil.cant wait to see your babbies in bloom stage.

they will start flowering very soon, hang in there. I really started this journal a few days ago, so its like getting to hit the fast foward button.

For hydroponics i use happy harvest, a local blend like general hydroponics
3 part, only it reatils for 20% less than GH products.

Ok Now that all the Seedlings are above the dirt, this is a very slow process that involves watering and waiting, make sure you dont feed, let the plants show you they are ready for food, i honestly think giving nutes too early will cause the seedling to go "leggy" The tighter i pack the nodes in the better the plant looks in flower.

So We skipped the maturing process, some people just throw these seedling into hps or right into 12/12

i strongly believe that vegatative time is essential to making a nice budset. With seedlings packing too tight or not enough lumens will cause weak long stems.
Being 600 watts on 3x3 is overkill they are really short and squatty,

You can see we have alot of nodes per inch/cm allready

At this point the Foxfarm soil has used all the nirto, the pure RO water is not enough, if you look closely at the leaves they have told me it is time for food.

Can you see how the plant is fading between the veins? this means it is time for the 2 gallon pot and time for the first feeding.

Ok yesterday i transplanted most of these from the one quart containers and now most reside in the 2 gallon containers.

Here is the Before picture.

i will try to get the rest finished up later tonight, i have other areas to attend to. Actually those females are getting the "upgrade to the 3.5 gallon pots.

They will stress on this transplant. The best thing i can do is give them EXTRA co2 and Extra Oxygen. The Co2 is from the tank and i turn up the veg room to 1800 PPM (High~VeryHigh especially for veg!) The oxygen will go directly to the roots.

i am using growtek 35% peroxide For seedlings 1 drop per gallon!

Along with the transplant they get the Tray Upgrade, you can see the the 3x3 is full and leaves are starting to touch, if i dont get them spread out they will start to compete for the light.

The 4x4 tray uses the 1000 watt ballast for the late veg/ transition phase i will use the dual spectrum bulb. I Expect sexing period to take 2-3 weeks as these are still maturing.
At that point i will use the hps only bulb.

I will feed 24 hours after transplant as not to stress the plant more.
When food levels in the medium get low the plant will get leggy, i need to avoid this at all costs.

yes be careful it will burn you, I also use it to clean trays hydroten and as a alternative to Hydroguard.

You can clearly see the results of not aerating foxfarms with perlite. If you dont add oxygen your precious seedlings will curl up. At this point most users will stop watering, with the oxygen i will water the transplants they will perkup in about 2 hours after watering

Like i said i will give them 24 hours to get used to the new plastic, then its time to FEED for the FIRST time. These plants are 3 weeks old. They have not needed food till this point. The New Highly aerated soil (from transplanting)will cause it to grow like crazy. When i feed it nitro for the first time growth will EXPLODE. Not feeding these has STACKED the nodes very nicely. Now the new soil has mirco nutes also,this combo will send us into flower green and perky. This tray will need to be slpit in a few days again. i will try to find homes for the straglers. By the time these sex i hope they are 18 inches. Being F1 from seed i Expect these to get lanky.

Now when i say this understand i have a mite and aphid colony that comes and goes. a few feet away you will find mites. i have tried to stop them by burning the plants, after a while i had no more plants

So you will See some really down low dirty pest control. Infact i got sumthin' for them. i dont like the bombs and sprays, they say they are safe, but you dont want to smoke pesticide, or dead bugs. Yuck ... Creeper weed lol ....

I love normal natural pest control. But usually no one will spend money or time keeping them away. The most devastating bug i have the spidermite. UGGH last winter i met them, Now i breed 2 super human varieties. 2 spot spider mite, and the Red spider mite.

None of the natural predators seem to clear them up. We can spray pyrethris on the plant, but really on the buds???? No top shelf smoke has bugs. Many of us seasoned growers have massive colonies. Mine are busy in other rooms.
The flies and gnats are the first to come. I have no way of stopping all of them. There are a few ways, I teamed up with the pro's. Home - Koppert biological control natural pollination
to find a safe way to protect my cannabis.


I will start this treatment with the first watering. Let me show you the product and the pesticide and i will explain how it works! Its Evil LOL

Ok i have established plants and the pest control takes 14-21 days to become effective. i wanted to try this on my aphids however they were too far along.

The active ingredent i will use is Imidacloprid also know as Merit. this does not kill on contact, it is absorbed through the plants roots, when bugs chew on the tissue thats when they Die! Imidacloprid will kill the bugs by blocking thier nervous system.
Anything that feeds on the plants are screwed. until this is absorbed in the plant i will use natural predators that do not feed on plant tissue.

Now i talked with koppert specifically about effects on humans and i ran into a brick wall
digging a bit deeper with google i quickly came to understand this pesticide. Turns out Imidacloprid is what we use for our pets.. like Advatix, the dogs, cats get 2 drops on the skin and no bugs live on them for a month. I goes into the animals blood and kills what bites the dog!......

I got stoaked. i wonder what it will do to spidermites...... We ARE going to use this....

i wanted to do another journal with special projects. i felt showing seedlings for 3 weeks was silly. it will move fast. hash plant will be done first and its like 40 days so it will be a interesting run from here. With the food we will look at the nodes and spacing within 24 hours

Don't you just LOVE the DE abud? you can literally see the bugs writhing in pain...hahahhahaha!!! and its real cheap, which is always nice...

did ya know it was mostly made of silicates too? so applications of DE with actually help raise the plants climate resilience...
