Well I still have my original woodstock tickets..time I got there it was a free concert...I took a 30 day leave I had just gotten back from Viet Nam and took off with 2 buddies.....FUCKING AWESOME still have my old Kodak pictures of the Concert.

nice short retrospect here........by the way if you think its weird that CCR is singing this song.....the were the main event for woodstock but that got bumped to 3am cause Grateful Dead went way over time and Credence Clearwater Revival was pissed at their perfomance and had em edit out of the movie that was made for woodstock.....just a bit of trivia.

I had just turned 12 years old a couple of months before. I remember trying to figure out how I could get to Woodstock from Los Angeles. It took all of maybe 5 minutes for me to realize that what I was trying to plan was an impossible task. I can only imagine how awesome it must have been to be there!

I was 20, just discovered pot and headed to woodstock, ran out of weed before getting there, turned around to re-stock...ended up in florida chasing crabs on the beach....but fucking on the beach probably ended up a lot more fun than fucking in the mud........LOL....
I do wish I had made it to woodstock.....just for the memory......Great vids SP.....

Its crazy you post that video man.1st time I heard this song was watching opra with my mom(yeah i know). He preformed live. Great song. I so wish I could have been to some of those concerts. Epicness on a big scale.Joe crocker was crazy. Plus all the hippies :-D I may have been one in a past life. Their way of thinking is one that the rest of the world could take a few examples from

DO NOT PLAY this file if you are squimish....this is the war you werent allowed to see in nam....I was liveing this shit for 2 years with alot of brothers that are probley right here in RIU......the reason for this post is this was the 60s ppl.....were jerked out of 12 grade the day we graduated trained a bit and thrown to the dogs..........nothing pretty about war.....thats where all the anti war songs and stuff come from I hated the songs but im older now........alot of EMOTION is in this video...oh and the cannon at the first is real...the only canon in ther world that fired an ATOMIC shell and had a range of 30 miles.....Its name is Atomic Annie and sits at the musem on FT Sill by lawton oklahoma more tid bits there SO DONT WATCH IF WEAK STOMACH no puncher were pulled in this short film OK dont know how long this will be allowed before its delegted so here iit is

Ha pony I was still sucking my mommies boob and shitting my diapers during Woodstock.....My kewl Aunt Marlene was there and she still wears her hair the exact same way too.....Man if I ever get back to Southeast Texas I am gonna look you up dude.....I partied with a few vets when I was running around the country in a Peterbilt.....Since this is a thread about Nostalgia I will post a pic of my Grandfather during the early 50's sitting on his Harley in front of a vary famous restaurant in my hometown he is the 3rd guy in....Anyone from around there will recognize it.182759_10150140586992498_700412497_7958599_642483_n.jpg
