First Super Secret Grow Box

Long time user of RIU, first time grower!

Managed to build a pretty descreet grow box, and I just got my seeds yesterday, after the postal system 'lost' my package. Did you know the UK's Royal Mail has a facility that they send undelivered post to, where they open and 'destroy' it? Because I bloody didn't!

Anyway the box is just a small drawer cabinet, loaded with a 125watt cfl. Starting low as I've got very little space to work with here. In and outake are 120mm computer fans, with a DIY carbon filter slapped on the front.

Since space is an issue I've got 3 Lowryder Seeds, growing them one at a time.

Germintaed the seeds, planted them last night, I'll update when they sprout!

The Purple Maroc was just a freebie that got thrown in with the order. Just growing the small plants for now. It's going into storage until I upgrade!

Got a couple of thick carbon sponges infront of the outtake. Hoping that'll take care of the smell!

yer i got the same freebie along with one called bubblegummer they both came with my autos i bought

Since this is a very first grow I'm just gonna straight up flower it. Don't think I have the space to LST, the box is only 35cm x 35cm. Any ideas on how I can maximize without compromising on the grow space too much?

try to grow a bonsai type plant, bend and twist it almost flat to the pot and trim the roots and then flower

Checked on my plant today and noticed the bottom leaves were a bit shriveled. As far as I could tell it was because I had the light about 1 inch away. Raised it to about 4 inches, which should sort it out.
Going to start adding BioGrow in a couple of days.

Just checked my plant, and it looks like the nutrient may have done some burn
A couple of the lowest leaves have yellow patches on them.

Reckon I should carry on with the nutrient plan (1/4 strength) or knock it back to just water?

Checked on my plant today and noticed there was a fly in the box. Just a small one, so I though 'meh'. My windows been open all day, something probably just got in. But upon checking again a few hours later I noticed a few more flies.
So I reckon that the leaves browning and yellowing in patches is something to do with pests!

I've added a fan inside to keep the airflow moving and I'll be dropping by 'BnQ' and picking up some natural pest remover tomorrow.
