I admire this guy for what he was capable of doing.
I also realize that his thought process ... in terms of how he understands the art and how he is connected with it .... propelled him.

His views on subjects at the time ... within the context of the period ... are revolutionary and can be applied to much more than martial arts.

His Tao of Jeet Kune Do is incredible to read.

But i read he was a violent,aggressive an competitive Individual.

Wouldn't have fucked with Bruce, he liked to fight.

PS In china there is a rumor he died from eating cannabis.

I also heard that if you were workin on a movie with him, and challenged him to a fight, that shit would go down right there, and after he commenced to whooping your ass he would forget about it and act like nothing happened. seems like a pretty chill dude if you ask me.

lol, i had heard that too...Bruce Lee was reported to use MJ after he broke his back, and loved it.

i love the Tao, i just looked down at it when i read this post! great insight.

on a side note, my sifu was trained by and friends with Guru Dan Inosonto, training partners and close friend of Bruce Lee!

That 1" fist punch he does to that one dude. Hits him in the chest with a 1" "swing" (if you want to call it that).....and knocked the dude right off his feet.

Can't remember where I saw it. Unreal though.....guy amazes me.

I liked a book by Joe Hymms? One of his students had a great story in it.
He just set up a new canvas sears Heavy bag with a 3/8 chain to the roof.
He asked bruce to be the first to kick it.
And from a stand still he kicked the bag so hard it ripped the canvas, an snaped the chain. lol
1 kick.

The guy was pretty much the Christian Bale of his time... I remember reading something online about him threatening a movie director Loi Wei, because of some script writing issues.. He pulled a knife on him and tried to kill him.... It didn't also help that the director had ties to the Triads...
A couple of weeks later he dies in his mistress Apartment, Hmmmmm??? He was set up and poison to death....
Also Bruce Lee is like a mix of white, I think German or something....

wow never knew he was that crazy.
He seems like an awesome guy but I wouldn't want to get him mad at me lol.
He sounds like he got some mental problems or just a huge ego.
