Best Way To Strain Cheesecloth Without Burning Hands?

im making butter in about an hour, and i dont want to burn my hands on the cheesecloth like last time. any tips on what to use for this?

the back of a wooden spoon (press against wall of container)
a press
a friends hand

i just found 2 metal cups that have holes in them, and fit together. theyre made for makin ice cream or somethin. im thinkin of putting the cheesecloth in between them, and squeezin them together(thus squeezin out the butter). i also have a big c-clamp that maybe i will use to squeeze them harder. it is kind of rusty though, so idk if i should use that haha

and here i thought i was the only silly boy that got burned doing the same exact thing, lol.. i did what the first person suggested and just used a nice big spoon and pressed it up against the wall of the container i was using.. how would have ever guessed that budder that had been cooking for three hours was going to be that hot?? not me, lol.. live and learn..
fyi, the brownies i ended up making were out of this world strong.. one brownie had me stoned for a good six or seven hours... the first time i had eaten like two and a half or almost three and was flying for well over 12 hours.. good stuff that thc is..

do u think a normal plastic bag would melt from the heat? ziploc bag?

Go to the store and buy a pair of those $2 knitted gloves (one size fits all) that look like they can only fit a 10 year old but they do streach, try them on at the store.
Put those on and now I take a pair of latex gloves and put them on over the top of the Knitted ones.
I can take that butter pour it thru the cheese cloth and man handle squeezing that cheese cloth and not burn my hands.

Oh yea and 1 more thing I do is just as I feel I can't get any more squeezed out I finish it over a piece of raisian bread add cinnimon sugar and walla your sample for figuring your dosing.

naw...the metal cups will wick away plenty of the heat

the bags just to catch rust falling off if you don't want to bother brushing it all off first
probably don't need the bag

a clean sock or t shirt would do i bet

heres a pic of what i used. theres 2 metal cups, both with slits and holes in them. i wrapped the ends of the c-clamp in 2 layers of foil. i put the cheesecloth with trim in it in between the two cups and squeezed it with the c-clamp. it worked really well actually
