Harvesting question, small problem not sure what to do about it

I looked through threads to make sure this wasn't asked yet so I hope someone can help me. I flush my 4 mothers a week ago which was there 7th week of flowering. now they are showing signs of nute deficiency in the leaves. Getting organgy and brownish splotches everywhere. My concern is if this will effect any of the harvest. I wasnt planning on harvesting for another week and a half or so...would it be smart to shorten that time and harvest sooner because of this?

They are in 5 gallon pots but not all the way to the top so could it be a nute lockout because of rootbound?

Mothers don't get flowered. If they do, they're not really mother plants anymore.

No, you shouldn't shorten flowering time to less than the plants need to develop their high. If you do, all of the bud on the plant could end up with a less enjoyable high.

If you are concerned about root binding, very gently remove the worst plant from its container. Squeeze the sides lightly to loosen the soil from the pot. Grab the plant by the base of its trunk with one hand. Grab the edge of the pot closest to you with your other hand and lean the plant toward yourself. Slowly separate the pot and plant, sliding the hand pushing the pot along underneath the root ball, supporting it as the plant comes out. If the roots are swirling multiple times around the bottom corner of the pot, they are in danger of root binding.

"Mother's Finest" I don't quite understand what you mean about mothers not being mothers? Anyways I meant to add I do not have any bigger pots than the 5 gallons they are in. They are less than a week from harvesting, is it okay to just hold tight till then?

I have a lush Super Silver Haze that's going on it's 3rd year... I never put it through flowering, instead I snip the apex and used all of it's new branches for cloning...

Yer find bro the plant is just doing what it needs to survive let her finish up where she is.

The point of a flush is to remove excess nutes for a cleaner smoke. When you do this the plant uses up its stored energy by eating the leaves. Perfectly normal dont give nutes unless you want harsh smoke. They be fine i flush for 2-3 depending on the strain.

Alright thanks guys. I noticed when looking at other forums and peoples journals that right before harvest their top leaves were looking the same.

I pulled 50% and put them in the dark room today...trying this 24-48hr darkness thing to see what happens. Taking before and after pics for those interested in my findings

Guess I will throw in my two cents on this. I have been growing organically since the late 60's, many successes and some dismal failures along the way as most growers have. I understand the many opinions of the harshness of smoke by over fertilization, nasty chemicals and such. Saying this, I now grow for my wife who has lung problems and cannot handle strong or harsh smoke without some really bad results. So in order to keep the girls healthy through the grow and not have a harsh or burning smoke I use fish emulsion at half strength the last couple of weeks with no flushing involved.
I keep my plants green or at least mostly green until right before harvest doing it this way. I don't use chemical ferts so I can't say what feeding your girls would do for your smoke. Feeding in this manner though probably increases your flower time a week or so but you will have happy plants, smooth smoke and bigger buds at harvest time.
The next thing you have to do with this type of method is to ensure that you allow a proper cure time to your buds. I don't smoke the buds, except for the little pipe full now and then to see where we are in the cure process, I like to cure well over 1 month before smoking and don't put into the everyday smoke rotation for at least 2 months after putting into the cure jars.
I hope that this helps or at least gives you somehting to think about.
