hey buddy, what kind of soil are you using? When did you start to add nutes to the mix? If your soil has nutes already in it and you're adding more, then that's the cause of the overfeeding. But, I'm a DWC guy, so I could just be talking out of my ass...LOL
They are getting big and starting to look really nice either way bro. when do plan to transplant and to what size pots?
Whats up TJP! Tell you the truth i'm not 100% sure what kind of soil is in the cups, but i'll be putting them into FF Ocean Forest mix which does have a nice amount of nutes in it =) I wanted to transplant them this past monday, but i've been so busy at work by the time I get out the stores are already closed =( Hopefully I'll be able to get there tomorrow and pick up everything that I need. Once they're big enough I plan on taking clones and going to DWC for the first time ever so I'm sure your DWC expertise will be in great need by me!!

Thanks for the laugh. lol
Haha anytime Tao! So I didn't make it to the grow store today, but I did make it to home depot to get some other things I needed so all was not wasted today. I guess i'll have to wake up early tomorrow and make it out there!

I know its been awhile seen I've posted anything, but I've been really busy with work.. I was finally able to make it to the store and pick up the things I've needed to do my transplant.. I decided to go with 3 gallon grow bags, and picked up a bag of the ocean forest. I was also able to make a jimmy rigged contraption for my cloner until i can find the actual piece that i need to fix it lol. Hopefully my engineering will hold up lol. Ohh and I also finally cut out my intake and outtake holes in my veg box, and have started to clean up some area for the flowering box that i will begin to build this weekend!! I can't wait to build that! I love woodworking lol. I have my electrician buddy coming to where all the fun happens to make sure that I won't burn anything down, and to wire up some of my fans and ballast. Gonna be pretty busy the next few weeks as I start to finish up my boxes, wire up the boxes properly and without a bunch of extension cords lol, also gonna take another stab at cloning as I didn't have any luck the first time I've tried it. But I've been doing a lot of reading on it, and feel that I'll have a lot better luck this time around! Anyway here we go here are the pics of the vent holes, plants before transplant, plants after transplant, and my northern lights that is just doing amazing =) Ohh and of course a shot with yours truly in it =)

Oh quick question also.. Has anyone tried to lst with these grow bags.. This is my first time using them, and wasn't sure if I should make some slits at the top of the bags to start training them. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks =)

whats up bro, looking great.. can't help you with the low stress training, not very familiar. the only experience with those grow bags i had was a few clones i grew out door came in them from the nursery. and i left them in the bag and put them in the holes for a couple days and they started lookin a little weird and wilted even tho they were watered. i think they are just really thin and may get hotter, and the roots touch them, not sure tho.. transplanted them into the ground and they came right back.. i've used the ocean forest and know a lot of people that do, good stuff.. good luck, will be checkin back!

well, I would call it experience more that expertise, but thanks for the compliment.
And of course I'll be here for any questions you might have.

as far as your LST (if you havn't already started) I would just roll the top edges of the bags down a little bit to make the thickness of the bag larger at the top, then poke your holes and ties them girls down. In my experience they only really tug on the lines for about a week or so until the plant gets used to it, then she starts to back off. let me know if that doesn't make sense.

Thanks for the tip TJP! Makes perfect sense to me! You think I should give the girls a couple days to settle in the new home before I start to train them? Or you think i'll be good now?

If the girls are happy then I don't see any reason not to start tying them down. tying them doesn't stress them out too much, hence the term "low stress training" or LST

So I've made my first ever attempt at lsting and I hope i've done it right lol even though i've read so many different ways to do it. It really is just about bringing the top of the plant lower right? Anyway some pics for your enjoyment and mine too lol

Took some clones from my northern lights plant, and my Hawaiian Gold plant. I've never had any success with cloning yet, so lets all keep our fingers crossed lol.. I've only tried it twice so far.. This will be my third attempt at it. This time around i have the daisy cloner and i've heard/read great things about it so i hope it does the trick!
