i love how your making it work with what you got, but i think what you got is a fire waiting to happen. Go buy a sheet of plywood and make a box big enough for that light to hang inside, it wont be a 10$ box anymore but most likely it wont burn your house down either. that being said those plant look nice man!

Yea Bro .... this is scary stuff. Don't do this ..... please. This is kind of thing lends to the argument that pot smokers/growers are dangerous. I'm sorry to say that and I appologize for it but it's true. You are being dangerous. Do you owne the home?
I would guess not ....
Take (write down) your meassurements of this box or what size you really want. Go to Home Depot, Lowes or a local lumber yard and buy a sheet of plywood. They will cut your wood for you if you can't. You can scavage a construction site for wood. You can find local shops that ship things with crates that are disgarded once delivered. Hell I think even a good rubbermaid tote would be safer. Forget about the low cost hype and be safe as wel as realistic. You could never flower in that box with all the light leaks and when she fills up all the heat will be forced back out the opening. The inversion layer will prevent any fresh air from reaching the plants canopy.
A+ for effort though .... and the girls look good so give em a good safe home
