Coco Coir nutrients +rep for help

I'm about to start my first grow in coco coir and I was wondering what I should get for nutes.

First off, the strain I will be growing is an Auto. Samsara Seeds Supersonic Cristal Storm. Or Lowryder + Black Domina. Apparently it goes into bloom at 12 days. Crazy.

Here's what I was thinking for nutes.

Advanced Nutrients Iguana Grow for vegging 3-1-3

Advanced Nutrients Iguana Bloom for flowering 4-3-6

And as an extra..

Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy weeks 1-6 0-0-1

http://www.advancednutrients.com/product_label_pdfs/Nov2008/BudCandy_LABEL_02-2320-15.jpg

Would these be good nutes or am I better off with something else? If these nutrients are good, should I add anything else with them?
My goals are just like anybody else.. Explosive, frosty buds.

Thanks in advance +rep to anyone that can help:leaf:

P.S, I won't be shelling out too much cash on these. A seller on ebay has a bunch of Advanced nutrients products selling for 8.00 for 2/4oz depending on the nute.

Here's a link. There's a lot of variety and I'm looking for the best possible concoction for my grow!

I would't use that lineup for coco. You really want to have low K levels in your nutrient when growing in coco due to the naturally high levels, otherwise you end up locking out calcium and magnesium.

edit: I checked out that listing, and those are only 4oz bottles he's selling so that's not a very good price at all really.
Instead of the rep, you can always just send over your avatar for a hour or two.:hump:

Lol, dream on. That still doesn't tell me which nutes are better for me though...

Canna coco A+B works well, a have a friend using it with good results.
I'll take a look at it.. That stuff is pricey. I know how you said the 4oz bottles wouldn't be good but they would be enough for 1 8 week grow and 3 plants. I just didn't want to go overkill on nutes if I'm not going to be growing that much. Seemed like a reasonable price to me.

The base coco line isn't bad at all, it's their Boost that's hella expensive. Also with their coco line you use the same A+B for both veg and flower, so you save some $ there.

Hmm. Now Dyna grow is also an option. I wish I could find coco canna in smaller budget friendly bottles.

I think they have small ones available, they do of their supplements anyway. Whatever you do, make sure you use a low K formula and add Cal Mag.

Botanicare is good stuff, many growers use it with coco and have great success. I think (though I'm not positive) that the CNS17 line was designed for coco, it's pretty cheap too. I've only grown in straight coir one time, and I didn't have good results, because I didn't understand how to use it at the time. Good luck with it all, let me know how it goes.

For sure man! Thanks for the help. I'll keep ya posted.

I'm going to go ahead and buy this because I would be a real dumbass to pass this up. 6 bottles. Fert+Supplements for 34.95 shipped. Incredible. Everything I could possibly need right there.

Yeah, I looked at it. You should be good with that for a grow cycle, some of the products will last you longer than others.

Edit: Snow Crash below is absolutely right about those ratio's, but you can still pull off a good grow if you're observant and supplement with Cal Mag. CNS 17 is what you really want though, if you want to stick with an inexpensive nutrient.

PBP Grow:
3-2-4
Ca: 1%
Mg: 0.5%

CNS 17 Grow:
3-1-2
Ca: 3.6%
Mg: 0.5%

Pure Blend Pro Bloom:
2-3-5
Ca: 1%
Mg: 0.5%

CNS 17 Bloom:
2-2-3
Ca: 2.5%
Mg 0.5%

I wish you the best of luck with the PBP, but if you take a look at their coco formula you can see a pretty blaring difference in the Calcium level. PK also.

Personally I think CNS 17 is going to be the best bang for the buck in coco. The quarts are only $8-$9 a bottle. Liquid Karma is some expensive shit (like $25/quart) but in my experience it is worth the money.

Thanks for that comparison +rep. The reason why I'm more leaned towards the PBP is because it's organic based. Cal Mag would compensate right? I'm not sure where to start on feeding. I need to read a good guide but I've been seeing mixed experiments all over the place. Some say follow the rules on the bottle and some say use the 'Lucas Formula'. One PBP user reported using 'Bloom' and cal mag During veg and throughout the rest of the grow + supplements. Started half strength after the first week and then went full strength thereafter. Personal preference I guess.

Since I'm growing an autoflowering strain that apparently goes into bloom at 12 days after seed, what's best for me? How do you add the supplements, just mix them in with the fertilizer before watering? Do you just get a gallon and make a cocktail with the recommended doses? For example during vegging... 1tsp of grow, 1tsp of Cal+mag, 2tsp of Sweet and 1-2tsp of Liquid Karma? That sounds like overkill. Correct me If I'm wrong because I'm new to nutes and coco. This isn't my first time growing though. Thanks a lot
