My First Grow - Indoor White Widow

hows it going guys ive been on RIU for a little while now and did my research so i thought id show my progress although shes already into 3weeks veg on LST so shes growing kinda slow ATM. its not bag seed but was givin to me from a grower so i hope its got some good genes. started half strength nutes about a week ago. had a fungus gnat problem so i put perlite on top of the soil and on the bottom so they are now gone. im using 1 42w 6400k and 2 26w 5000k CFL bulbs and will switch to 2700k for Flower.

questions and comments:

when should i switch to flower? shes growing slow cuz of LST so should i give her one more week before Flower? i want to keep her under 2ft.

a plant could triple in height during flower so keep that in mind, not knowing the genetics id get ready to flower within the next couple of days. otherwise things look great, good luck and keep updating

its white widow so 50/50 sativa and indica, ill switch to flower in 2 days cuz then ill get my 2700k light bulb in the mail! thanks for the tips

Ok so ive topped her....its a week before she goes into flowering so it was maybe too late to top her but well see how it looks.
Ive also upped her nutrient for the last week of veg. heres a couple pics of the topping

so i have some new updates and some good news, ITS A GIRL! the topping looks great from a week ago. i changed the light bulbs to 1 42w 2700k and 2 26w 2700k. i also took a clone from the bottom and the clone seems to have survived after 3 days although it is looking kind of droopy (maybe cuz i just watered it) any advice on the maintenance of clones? i used root tech and a razor blade.

So we are past the first week of flowering and i get excited everyday when i see new progress. she smells so ripe! i got some of those odor balls and placed it right next to my exhaust fan. funnny enough ever since i put it in the box i see a couple of dead gnats on the ground. lol they must not like the odor balls. ok so now i have 5ml of all 3 GH nutes in a gallon jug. should i be adding exact nutrients or a little less then the directions give? Ithink im going to purchase some Big Bloom from the hydro shop next week. i feel like a kid in a candy shop, i could probably just sit and stare at this plant all day (so relaxing). she has such a bushy structure for a white widow, and the internodes are so TIGHT! if i take the LSTing off she would probably be somewhere near 8 or 9 inches right now so im a little skeptical about how tall she will get in the next 7 weeks, because my box is only 4 foot tall 3.5 if you count the space the lights take up. anyways i wanna hear some input so chat it up

good stuff going down in marijuana town, lol, my girls are showing some nice pistols! im expecting another 42w in the mail so well up the wattage a bit and maybe get some more ventilation. i just got a nice hygrometer and my stats fall as show.

IN BOX: 78.4 - 81.2

OUT box: 69.0 - 74

RH: 52% - 64%

she started touching my lights so here we are again with another LST and the side bud sites are getting lots of light now, i feel like im watering here every other day...is this normal? she seems to be thirsty alot and drying quick.

ANOTHER UPDATE! (even thought no one comments)

ok so shes becoming quite the lady lol. this is dangerous to say but im doing this grow with no ppm tester or PH...my water is filtered but i mix tap and filtered for the perfect PH. before my tester broke the water from the filter came out at 7.0 every time and im using soil so it really benefits me. although i dont have a ppm tester im in the 2nd week of flowering: Day 8. PISTOLS EVERYWHERE, lol she makes my room smell of air freshener and sweet marijuana lol. did some more LSTing and my nutrients are 3ML of flora gro/7ML of flora micro/12ML of flora bloom. does this sound right or should i up the nutes?

just ordered some Tangerine Dream, Vanilla Kush, and Amnesia Haze all from Barneys farm seeds at Attitude.
so well see how the next grow is ganna look like.
i also have some cabbage, cucumbers, and lettuce all germinating yum yum veggies.

Got some new equipment!! ONLY reason i didnt get a HPS is because i dont have a place for the exhaust. so we are vegging some cucumbers and watching our girl flower in her temporary home/previous because shell be moving under the 125w 2600k CFL and inside her new hydroponic DWC 5gal bucket i say her as in HER sister (clone) but gatta go pick it up. bought the ENTIRE....GH organics set. also got some ben bacteria PH meter and TDS meter also got that hood and purchased a DIY grow tent. got a nice Bud shot in this early stage. ALSO some New glass from DELTA 9

UPDATE:

ok so these ladys are 3 weeks into flowering and i already soo some amber coming in those hairs, but shes as white as can be! doesnt really stink to bad, u can smell them when you open up the box but when its closed i smell nothing (no filter).
also got some pics of my DIY grow tent that i setup last night. itll be the future grow for my next grow wich is vanilla kush. but for now i have a tomatoe in a dwc bucket and some cucumbers in organic soil (black gold) im using the entire organic line from GH.
so quality is key here when growing veggies. the last pics are some sour desiel and blue dream.

ok we are in week 3 of flower and shes looking good, had some nutrient issues and heat issue but solved and did some lsting on her because im not sure why she insists on extending so long. buds are starting to get frosty.

ive been fighting nute issues and flushing for awhile now and i just cant seem the find the formula for this effin thing. anyways its been solved and unfortunately im ganna have to cut her early possibly because of height.
shes got some nice sized nugs now and this thing is a slow grower. but oh well we shall see in a week wether to shop down or not.

UPDATE:

400w really show a difference is size and thickness

i think theres 2 more weeks left if not a week and a half, all trichomes are cloudy and i want a few to be amber so i gatta wait it out but ive started flushing 3 days ago and im excited to see the progress.
not sure why because i thought this was white widow but the hairs on this thing are more red then orange.

hey man, everythings looking awesome, keep up the good work, little bit of advise is keep your humidity under 40% during flower, last thing you want is to loose buds from a mold or bud rot, cause by high humidity during flower
