Are my plants ready for flowering? PIC PICS

So guys my plants have been in veg stage now for 8 weeks....and the veg growth has not slowed down.....some pics attached, are they ready now for flowering? In the first picture the plant is smaller because i think when i planted it it was growing in the wrong direction and it was a dwarf compared to the rest. Now because these are NOT feminized seeds, im scared that this might be the only female i have and i do not want to turn to 12/12 until it grows a bit, although i think the rest are ready....WHAT SHOULD I DO... If you can get us some nice close up pics of the upper internodes, we can tell you how many girls you have, right now. Then, you can weed out the males, bring the females tighter, and hammer 'em with more light. That'll make 'em branch out more, and be more ready for flowering. Training would be a good idea too, but that's my own personal preference. At any rate, they're plenty ready for flowering. What size light do you plan to use? I'd veg them a little longer if if you're going with 1000 watts, and maybe even a 600. They're plenty ready for a 400, being that the light is only good for growing decent buds on approx. the uppermost 12-16" of plant heigth.

Personally, I'd wait til they branch out some more, whether naturally, or through training. They're plenty tall enough though.

The minimum most say for flowering is 3 feet for it to be worth it. but you can try to flower it at what ever time you desire. The sign that your plant is sexually mature is when the nodes stop mirroring each other and start to step up the stem one higher than the other.

Looks like you got a tad bit of nute burn or poor humidity.

I have one 450W HPS and there are 6 plants
ill get you some pictures today...but just to let you know there are 5 afghan #1(male and female) and they are supposed to be 1.00 - 1.3 meters in height (as per the seed banks catalog) and one super lemon haze (feminized) which is growing at very very slow speed. i think the afghan is ready for flowering but not the SLH.
I just switched to the 12/12 cycle today and im just gonna have to take the risk that the SLH is gonna flower with the others. SLH is supposed to increase to 3 times the size after flowering.
I looked at the nodes very closely and im sure that one of the afghan is a female but because this is my first grow i couldnt tell what the rest are but I THINK that they are males...ill post some pictures later

I know i have a problem but i couldnt tell what it is ... dont think its nute burn because the yellowing tips started from the top of the plant...check out my other post if you can about this issue...i would really appreciate any help i can get cuz that plant is the only one im sure is a female

These are close ups of the nodes of three plants that i think are males...am i right?
The other two have pistils with two hairs coming out of them so im pretty sure they are females

I think you should train your plant before flowering. Any direct light that reaches the floor is wasted light.
Also remember that every light got a penetration depth. IE with a 400W HPS anything over 1m from the light won't get enough light to produce proper buds. Meaning you want your plants bushy and squat filling up the room to maximize your yield.

Good luck.

Yep, correct. The middle one is a *little* iffy, but I'm pretty sure it's a male, as well.

I read that is not necessarily true...there is a threshold for every strain
As long as you don't limit the root space and don't shock the plant there is no limit to how much a plant can produce.
Well, I've seen someone pulling 3 kilo grams from a single plant so that achievable for sure. Wasn't a high yielding strain either, just a very long veg and a LOT of space for the roots.
And I've seen more than a few plants give over 2 kilo grams.

put them in flower an see what you get all depends on your room height size also with the lighting you got i grow afgan and to give you a idea how big they will get is i put them in flower at 26" final height i got 56 to 60 " so if you got the height then let them go
