So i am 2 months into my first grow ever. I only have one plant growing. Its about a week into 12/12 because i dont want it to get too big its about 1.5ft tall and a foot wide. Well today I noticed single balls starting to appear on my plant and I was just wondering if that means its male or if thats just where the pistils sprout from. IDK much but what I do know is any help is appreciated

-Thank you!:leaf:

Alright well you cant really tell anything from the pics so im about to hit up google lol. Thank you so much for the info tho! Even if its a male its totally cool with me just because I had a ton of fun growing it and doing the research, but it would be nice to have something to smoke lol

Haha that's an awesome frame of mind right there.
I wish you could have some smoke for your sake on all that time/effort put in!

Thanks man! I really appreciate the knowledge! Now at least I know its a good idea to plant more than one seed at a time. I feel growing a male is like getting into a car accident you never think its gunna happen to you but when it happens it sucks and this time i'll know to have the insurance of a few other plants so I dont waste a lot of time lol

No doubt man!
Assurance in having insurance will always keep the smiles up:]
My first grow ended up exactly like your case a few years ago, had 1 and whaddu know....MALE-FAIL.
Jorge Cervantes said on his DVD that seed ratio is usually about a 50/50 probability, so keep that in mind on your next round. Now dust yourself off and have your ladies "throw you some nice buds" next time :]

Since you only have 1 plant going, give it a little more time (few days), then you will know for sure and you'll know for next time, what males look like.

Good Luck :leaf:
